He's obviously trying to be positive while facing criticism himself, but I think I agree with his comments.

I thought you were at the game on Saturday? He's had an awful season. The only thing of note that I can recall him doing was crossing for Mackie in Dnipro. Apart from that, he had two foul throws in the same match, and on Saturday the ball slipped out of his hands early while taking a throw. He's not good enough.

Nicholson has to be dropped now, no matter how good he has been. Get Touzani and/or Walker (if there is a chance he'll stay) into midfield. Miller must be waiting to see if any interest is shown in him, so could probably be dropped as well.

As Miller and Nicholson (and Lovell) have been free to speak to other clubs since January, why haven't they been snapped up by other clubs by now?

I couldn't stand him at the start of the season but he's certainly been one of our best performers this year. His scoring record is atrocious though. It seems all his game is about flick ons and holding the ball up, which he does extremely well. Not deserving of a payrise that's for sure, but I'd keep him. Unlike Zander, he didn't seem to be bothered if he got booked on Saturday.

Willie Miller in the EE (can't find the article on the website) basicaly saying Calderwood won't be getting sacked, and that there will be some squad rebuilding in the summer, once they sort out who's leaving from Miller/Nicholson/Lovell. An experienced centre back is one of the priorities for next season.

Who? Getting a fee for Clark, let alone a 6 figure sum, was good business IMHO.
