  1. I love to read as well, but tend to find that most of the time the day job gets in the way
  2. Do you speed read, or just sit about all day reading To finish this book in two days is one hoor o' a read
  3. Make that six weeks now Nae like him
  4. It'll be embarassing having Sturgeon on national TV Bet Paddy doesn't fancy having a pop at her
  5. now a free agent after Man City cancel contract http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2012/01/11/2841911/manchester-city-cancel-contract-of-reserve-goalkeeper-david Had high hopes for him when we first got him, but doubt I'd welcome him back
  6. Independence will bring an end to sterling and the introduction of the Euro as our currency I'm as patriotic as the next man, but far from convinced about the wisdom of going it alone, and certainly have never heard anything coming out of the "bag of wind" known as Alex Salmond that has ever come remotely closely to me trusting him with this potential monumental jump for our nation. No one seems to have highlighted the fact the if Salmond for one minute thought he could get a yes majority vote tomorrow he'd be moving heaven and earth to get it done now instead of this 2014 nonsense. The polls don't lie when they report that at best he is going to get about 40% support, hence the reason he is running scared of the straightforward independence YES or NO question and nothing else. On a selfish note the company I work for although not British has it's UK headquarters in Scotland despite the fact that Scotland only accounts for 8% of our UK business. Fair to say I'd .magine that it'll be adios Ecosse to that
  7. Fantastic news Thought that both would stay on, but you never known until the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed
  8. Faux pas of 2012 surely and only the tenth day
  9. Obviously got confused by their slogan "Every little helps(yourself)" Never mind sure the police gave him a right good grilling
  10. Never liked the nasally little shite Might get a roasting from the missus Ready, Steady, Crook Sorry only because he got caught I'd hazard a guess
  11. Cheers, some how managed to say it twice. Not had a double post for many years, and after me telling aff Jager for post hooring P.S Well done on your tv appearance. We all know who you are now
  12. Shame in some respects, as think he really gives 100% and wanted it to work out for him, but he has long enough and it frankly isn't going to happen for him. Thanks and bye bye Josh, a' the best for the future lad
  13. Jager, quit post hooring min
  14. Manc I got what you meant mate
  15. Tick tock......... Huns or Hearts.....who is going first
  16. Indeed Heard them going on and on about that on Radio Scotland
  17. Fucking hell Tom, some pretty damning statistics there. The two Edinburgh clubs in particular crowds are very poor. Hearts only would have had about 6,500 if you take away the Auchinleck support, and the HIVS more than a 1,000 less than at our game for what was a very short trip for them.
  18. Aye saw that Manc, surely he is going to get hauled up for that Surely doesn't matter if you do that to your own fans or opposition fans the consequences could be the same
  19. If you'd gone for a piss, you'd have missed it. In fairness didn't grudge Auchinleck or Cowdenbeath getting so long of their games shown, but why Dundee v Killie given the fact that the Beeb had laready shown the game live.
  20. Ah, you must be older than I thought. Good choice though
  21. Sure did, had it on on a ten team line, nine of which came up and fucking Reading losing at home to Stevenage cost me the money
  22. Taken from Man Ure official site 06/01/2012 22:10, Statement on Wayne Rooney Issued by Manchester United, Paul Stretford of Triple S Sports and Entertainment Group and Ian Monk Associates Manchester United and Wayne Rooney have been made aware of the theme of an article in tomorrow's Independent newspaper. We have not seen the detail but can assure all United fans that the Manager and the Club are committed to Wayne Rooney and Wayne is committed to the Manager and the Club. The player and the Manager have always had and retain the utmost respect for each other and look forward to working together in the coming seasons. Any suggestion that Manchester United and Wayne Rooney are to part company is complete nonsense.
  23. Think I'm right in saying that Rhodes isn't actually confirmed as a Scottish internationalist yet, as his appearance was as a sub in a friendly international and until suchtime as he has played in a full international for us, he can still change his mind and play for Engerlund instead, although I do beleive he has gone on record as saying that he has no intention of doing so. Edit: sorry just read GS seperate post about Rhodes and it confirms the point about him needing to play in a full international for us
  24. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7415531/Dons-starlet-set-for-England Astounded if this is true considering he doesn't seem good enough to merit a first team place with us. Have seen him four times now, and to be honest have never been overly impressed Presume compo would be in order
