  1. Good. And so he should. Not one of those players (apart fro perhaps the yoofs breaking through) should feel like thier contracts will automaticall be renewed.
  2. No. We cant. Just watched the "highlights" of the hertz game. Totally amateurish defending.
  3. re Blackman That must mean brown will get rid of one or two of our mis-firing strikers. I wonder who though? Mackie perhaps? I also noted in Brown's interview that he quite catagoriacally stated that despite us having a decent U19 team, that youth ALONE WLL NOT get us out of this situation.
  4. Dear god man. Craig brown is held in nothing but utter respect in footballing circles. If there is ONE manager/coach in the british isles never mind in scotland that will get the best from our young players its craig brown. If they dont step up to the plate for him then they shouldnt be playing the game.
  5. Make no mistake.anything paw broon doesn't know about football in general and Scottish football in particular is not worth knowing. Theperfect man for the job-at the moment!
  6. The Who. Quadrophenia. Original Track records L.P Some of the greatest rock ever produced. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygOaNo3M_Hw&feature=related Pearl Jam's version is one of the best cover i have eer heard.
  7. Collins also purportedly left because the board of directors ambitions didnt match his. in other words he wanted to spend more on players than the board at hibs would give him, so for that reason alone, zeus would be a non starter.
  8.  My thoughts exactly. Positive PR from the bowels of pittodrie (for once) from the interim management team. Ie "we know things are shite, we have removed one problem, so now let's set about the other reason why we are second from bottom-the players."
  9. A merry fucking start to christmas then.
  10. were the board waiting until the last possible moment to sack before the AGM so to deflect criticism from them? They now seem to be pro active?
  11. i'm going fir made up. If its one thing MM cant be blamed for is lack of passion. I hate those rags and NEVER take anything in them at face value. Mind u. My bet would be diamond giving this statement, if its true.
  12. This is the thing tho. Unless there is a motivating factor such as a vote of no confidence, the board are hardly going to go out of their way to find replacements. They need to be pushed.
  13. Whats needed for a vote of no confidence?
  14. You know, its fucking tragic that our support can not get together in a constructive way when our club is at its lowest ebb. The ONLY thing that should matter is the continuation of Aberdeen Football Club within top flight football, and at this exact moment in time, that is in serious doubt. Can you imagine ANY other clubs support around our size tolerating what we are having to go through? NO is the anwer. The Hearts, the rangers, the celtic, the hibernians of this world just wouldnt. For the ability of fanpower to dictate change. perhaps we need to look at Newcastle. Something needs to be said, a united agenda, assessing where we are and how we got there yes. But we need to make it positive and also have a clearly defined method of moving forward and on from here with clearly defined goals and achievememts accesible to everyone. These secretive meetings and vague statements about future plans are no use to anyone if nobody knows what the fuck they are. I reckon for a theoretical massive meeting of all AFC support, you will get suggested items from most that can be agreed need to be discussed. I propose the following: 1) Is the current management team making the expected progress on the pitch utilising available resourses to the full potential? 2)Since the recent funding stream of televised matches has been reduced, what has been done to achieve alternative funding/sponsorship? 3)Why are we an SPL club still without our own modern training facilities and connected youth academy. Is this not dereliction of duty from our board of directors to not have assessed the need for this sooner? Ie at the time the Richard Donald stand was buiilt/when all the surrounding land adjacent to Pittodrie was sold?
  15. 7000. I think there will be more plastic paddies than us. Incidently. Whats our biggest home defeat?
  16. I am only using the highlights to form my opinion here, but after the second goal, killie were TOYING with us, so much space, no closing down, they could have worked us all day and would have managed to find space in behind our backline any time they wanted. The lack of width in our team is utterly, utterly horrifying. Its amateurish to look at. Whoever is playing left and right back watching the oppositiontake runs down our flanks, only bothering to come out at them when they either cut inside towards the eighteen yard box, or just as they have got the cross away. Nothing has changed since we lost to unt away or even killie 1-0 at home. The same mistakes over and over again. :hammer:
  17. its all fineand well demanding that everybody leaves refs alone to to thier job, but therd has to be a method of challenging dodgy decions otherwise standards never improve. Refefees should nevef bd untouchable.
  18. i see the tims are delighted about this so it triggers a UEFA investigation, who of course will look into it, tell the paranoid freaks to man the fuck up, and so UEFA will become part of the anti celtic conspiracy.
  19. are crowds of 7000 in a stadium that holds 21 000 not a form of boycott?
  20. Aye, its terrible these fitba games on the Saturday afternoon gets in the way of the drinking.
  21. Two relegation fights, numerous clamitous managerial appointments, massive, crippling debt, no new investment. Mr Milne. justify the boards position and this off hand statement about these "tangible" changes that will be made. WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY AND WHEN WILL BE IMPLEMENTED?
  22. should this not be merged with the "get to fuck" thread?
  23. Jesus 14 points between us and third spot Caley. We're so far behind many of the teams above us in terms of confidence, cohesion and team spirit.
  24. No. There are no tangible changes. Nothing has changed. That is why we are 1 point off the bottom of the table. Scarily I cant see the club having the ability to change anything either, whether that is Mcghee or Milne. We are fucked.
