  1. I am now of the opinion that the ONLY thing this board will understand as to how angry we feel about the way our club is ran is through lost revenue through turnstile receipts. That, from the above statement seems to be the only thing Fraser cares about. NOT the experience of the poor sods who have to endure thier 90 mins once they have stumped up. Thing is, we need some way of making our demands and feelings clear if organised direct action by the support is to happen. I propose a boycott of a couple of home games.
  2. A disgraceful guilt trip aimed at the support. To paraphrase: "How dare you neandrethals blame the board and Milne for where AFC is. It is YOUR actions by not streaming through the turnstiles, regardless of what is happening on the pitch that is making things worse." I proposed a timescale for change on a short medium and long term because I have heard this non commited drivel before. As someone else stated, securing the debt is one thing, but he is now securing an EVER INCREASING amount of debt. Therefore the way the club is being tun is putting us under MORE financial burden. We need a change of direction. They just utterly refuse to be accountable to the support of this once respectable club. This line is always trotted out when we start grumbling at the board. I note no quotes with this statement. Is it the case that the retard are happy for us to continue on as a shambles? As somebody else said in another post that I'm sure someone out there would love to buy my house, but at this moment in time I have no idea because I dont have a "for sale" sign outside it. Its only by putting it up for sale in the first place will I know the level of demand. Its NOT the other way round. I dont get knocks on my door from strangers asking if the house is for sale. In short, if Fraser thinks things are rosie in the garden then he really needs to take a long hard look at the club now and the potential thats been wasted.
  3. Agreed, but surely with this revoloution comes a manager for the future? A 71 year old is hardly building a team for 5 years time. Infact getting rid of Milne could be a way of attracting somebody who actually wants to be with AFC? A new vision and all that?
  4. And some of our previous managers as well. Fergie and Aitken were hardly known as an amenable chaps were they not?
  5. Mr Steven Pressley for next Aberdeen manager? A young manager with enthusiasm and a will to win who is currently learning his trade in lower divisions? Thoughts?
  6. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14916580 One of the main culprits of uk shoebox living accomodation methinks
  7. Appeasing drivel. I almost want us to not do well in the next three or four games, just to see what this chinless wonder will do. I honestly cannot see that the remaining supporters will tolerate the sacking of another manager. Supporters groups should get together to demand a plan of positive action in the short, medium and long term, if this doesnt happen then the accountability stops with the board. Milne in particular has had too much wiggle room and too many other people to deflect the blame. I propose in the short term to have aims by the January transfer window, the medium term the end of the season and long term the next season into that January transfer window. Anybody fancy putting forward ideas for these aims?
  8. Its nae been a problem for over a hunner years. Why now? I'll tell you. Cos there's a shit load of money to be made for someone if we move, thats why.
  9. They wouldn't have let pittodrie fall into a state of disrepair to the extent that the only option is to build a new stadium. They would have built a purpose built training and youth academy.
  10. Indeed. I find it bizarre that supporters of other clubs, huns, tims, hertz and unt would not have put up with this level of mismanagement and failure from thier board of directors, but we do?
  11. desperate excuses, listening to brown, there is a similarity in the anxious pressured speech between him and Mcghee. Infact, its like going back 12 months in content too.
  12. If that is a quote from anyone within AFC then they should be sacked immediately.
  13. Nae chance. this is his last chance of making some proper dough before he retires. He wont rip up his contract at his stage of his career.
  14. A miracle we are managing to draw with east fucking fife? unrealistic expectations eh?
  15. I only remembered we were playing after dinner. I certaintly wasnt going to make the effort for the trip up. I cancelled my redtv subscription at the end of last season as well.
  16. yay. itll be great watching 1st division fitba in a brand new empty stadium.
  17. We have descended to joke status. Thats whats going on.
