  1. According to the DR they are considering a Super Sunday with both semi finals being played on Sunday, one after another. Both on BT Sport. Probably have the Aberdeen one kicking off at 11.00.
  2. Cheers, fixed it but the SFA are still Buffoons
  3. What a bunch of buffoons the SPFL really are. They had plenty of time arranging dates and venues for the semi finals. They knew there was a good possibility that the Ugly sisters would be involved and also knew that the pair had games in Europe. All they needed to do was to have yet another meeting BEFORE the draw and sort it all out but instead they have invited the four semi finalists for their views which basically means what the Glasgow wish to happen regardless of Aberdeen and Hearts think. Utter shambles again from the SPFL
  4. Agree with that. This guy is on his last payday and would not help our team to progress. Apart from they fact he is not match fit he would cause a problems in our dressing room.
  5. How difficult was it for the SFA to discuss all the scenarios for the Cup BEFORE the semis. All that was needed was to decide where they were going to be played if Sevco and Celtic were involved. They already knew they were involved in Europe before the draw. This only seems to happen in Scottish football.
  6. Both semi-finals will be played on Sunday 28 October as Celtic and The Rangers have Europa League matches on Thursday 25 October. Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty out. Bring it on
  7. Guy on Twitter Looks like D.M has found the secret formula to win at penalty kicks. He may need it again in the Semi.
  8. Forgot about the notes. The look on the face of Devlin was priceless. he did not have a clue reading it.
  9. Saturday 29th September 2018 15.00 Let's hope Celtic take out their frustrations on St Johnstone tonight and not us on Saturday. I have no idea what formation D.M. will play but still believe we can get a result at Parkhead. Just watch a replay of our last match in the last game of last season in Glasgow and go with that. Celtic 0 Aberdeen 1 This match is available on RED TV International.
  10. D.M saying post match that penalties is an art and not so much luck. Don't know if I was the only one who thought that May would miss his penalty but he took it well. Hibs the better team but who gives a toss. The draw for the semi's is taking place after the St Johnstone V Celtic game. Ps...I reckon we will get Hearts or Motherwell in the semi as the powers to be like to have at least one Ugly sister in the Final.
  11. Interesting starting 11. I have a good feeling about the game tonight.
  12. All I am seeing on Social Media is negativity from Dons fans regarding this game tonight. By all accounts the Aberdeen players seem to be up for it and are looking forward to the semi-finals after beating Hibs. Aberdeen fans should be of the same opinion. We have a 50/50 chance of going through and fully expect we will come out on top tonight.
  13. Just go for it tomorrow night. Playing a defending game will not work against Hibs. Attack, attack, attack
  14. Aberdeen will need to play well on Tuesday to win this one. Not much difference between the two clubs and may take a moment of magic from an Aberdeen player to win it. D.M will be more defensive in this one. Hibs 1 Aberdeen 2 This match is on BT Sport 1 and RED TV International at 19.45
  15. The win was the most important thing yesterday. May was not missed. Wilson did what he is here to do after 5 minutes. The most frustrating thing about Aberdeen is that some players hold on to the ball far to long in the final half of the pitch and eventually the attack breaks down. McGinn is like that, does okay in the build up and then try's to take on to many opposition players before losing the ball. They will need to play better on Tuesday to get through the tie against Hibs.
  16. May is on the bench for todays match. Good call from DM
  17. Queen's Park have claimed the Scottish FA attempted to buy Hampden Park for just £1. A meeting of more than 100 of the amateur club’s members heard that the paltry offer was made in the hope that it would be accepted as Queen’s would have had to pay back £18m funding to the National Lottery and debenture holders if the SFA had moved to Murrayfield. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/queens-park-claim-sfa-tried-13280645 Great to see that Queens Park stood up to the SFA bully boys. The SFA are indeed a bunch of twats.
  18. Villarreal missed at least 3 open goal chances. They played Sevco off the park in the first half. For a club reputedly costing £70 Million to assemble they are in need of a top class striker. This run of good luck that The Rangers are having will come to an end soon, then Gerrard will see how much he is adored by the hun fans.
  19. Scottish football will be "left behind" if it does not "try to find a way" of bringing in VAR, says Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes.Neil Doncaster says cost is one barrier to introducing video assistant referees in Scotland. But Pittodrie boss McInnes argued that is a "poor, poor reason for not trying to better the situation". He added: You ask any referee, they would all be in favour of it. A cost thing, I get, but surely we should be trying to find a way rather than just dismissing it. Get the TV companies to pay for it. They can reduce the EPL money and share some of it out among the other clubs.
  20. The Rangers fans have ‘reputation of troublemakers’ according to Spanish press as Villarreal game is declared ‘high risk. They claim The Rangers fans have earned themselves the ‘reputation of troublemakers’. The report also says Rangers ultras ‘provoked incidents’ before last month’s European qualifier against Osijek, where two Croatian fans were stabbed in a brawl before the Ibrox match. Let's all hope there is no trouble from the huns tonight and no red cards issued to players and no riots among the fans and no ban from UEFA regarding future European matches.
  21. Hoban, Tansey, Reynolds, Ross, Wright & Ferguson out. Wilson & Devlin back. Get James Wilson on from the start and let's see what he is made of.
  22. Dundee striker Kenny Miller will serve a one-match ban after he failed to overturn his red card against The Rangers. No surprise there, only watched it once but looked a wild challenge. On saying that if Miller was still playing with Sevco yellow card would have been the outcome.
  23. Aberdeen V Motherwell Saturday 22nd Sept 15.00 We have to start winning games again especially at Pittodrie. DM must make some changes mainly drop May to the bench and hopefully start with Anderson or Wilson up front. Aberdeen 3 Motherwell 0 PS.....For folk unable to attend this game it is live on RED TV International.
