  1. Tickets for this match are now SOLD OUT, however there will still be cash turnstiles available at the stadium for those still looking for a ticket on the day of the game. https://www.afc.co.uk/2018/09/03/ticket-details-st-johnstone-v-aberdeen-saturday-15th-september/
  2. The deal that means Scottish football will remain at its spiritual home will see the SFA buy Hampden Park from part-timers Queen’s Park. Scottish businessman and former non-executive Celtic director Haughey will provide half of the £5m figure. “We have heard the fans’ views throughout the process and agree with them that we need to improve access, transport links and the overall experience. “We are committed to doing that.” Two things: 1…..What is Lord Willie Haughey getting out of this wee loan to the SFA? 2....When have the SFA EVER listened to the fans vews ? The SFA will demand public funds to renovate Hampden which will take a while, and use Parkhead and Ibrox as the stadiums for Cup Finals and semi finals.
  3. 17.500 fans at Hampden yesterday including 1000 Albania supporters. It will be a massive job for the SFA to convince fans to return to the fold. Winning games will help of course, but we really should be beating teams like Albania anyway. If Scotland get through this Group unbeaten and winning all their home games it may bring a few more fans back to cheer the Scotland National Team.
  4. St Johnstone V Aberdeen 15th Sept 15.00 We will need to bring our "A" game for this one. Can see another nervous affair, but hopefully our injuries will have eased up by Saturday. Will go for St Johnstone 1 Aberdeen 2 This match may be live on RED TV International, will know nearer the date.
  5. The SFA would have to use public money to renovate Parkhead and Ibrox which only benefits the owners of the stadiums. We do not require 3 different venues to play Scotland matches or Cup Finals. By all accounts it looks like the SFA are trying to buy Hampden on the cheap from Queens Park anyway. And another reason is that Souness is a populist dick as you have mentioned.
  6. I really wish that Souness would stop getting quoted about this issue. He does speak some crap.
  7. Natcho Novo "we also signed a contract which said, if there were any problems in the future, Rangers would deal with them"
  8. 2018/19 UEFA Nations League: how it works The UEFA Nations League is a new competition that aims to ensure the continued success of national team football by replacing most friendlies with competitive matches and by allowing all nations to play against equally ranked teams. All 55 UEFA associations enter. The teams are split into four leagues, A–B–C–D, according to their position in the UEFA National Team Coefficient Rankings following the end of the European Qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup (as per 11 October 2017; play-off results will not be included). League A will consist of the 12 top-ranked teams. The next 12 teams will be in League B, the next 15 in League C and the remaining 16 in League D. Leagues A and B will each comprise four groups of three teams. League C will contain one group of three teams and three groups of four sides; League D will be formed by four groups of four teams. All draw procedures to be confirmed. Matches to be played home and away between September and November 2018 (teams will play four or six games depending on the size of their group). The four group winners of League A will qualify for the UEFA Nations League Finals, to be held in June 2019, with two semi-finals, a third-place match and the final. One host country will be appointed by the UEFA Executive Committee in December 2018 from among the finalist teams. The group winners in Leagues B, C and D will gain promotion and those who finish bottom of the groups in Leagues A, B and C will be relegated. National teams will thus either be competing to become UEFA Nations League winners, or be fighting for promotion and to avoid relegation. Well that's easy to understand, but much better than friendly games
  9. The SPFL have announced that our Premiership matches against Kilmarnock and Hibernian have been rescheduled for television. See below for full details. We will now face Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Sunday 4th of November – kick 0ff – 12.15pm (originally scheduled for Saturday 3rd of November) We will now face Hibernian at Pittodrie on Friday 9th of November – kick off – 7.45pm (originally scheduled for Saturday 10th of November) Two Saturday matches for us changed for TV.... Nice of the SPFL
  10. Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace have won their appeal to the SPFL against the way in which Rangers took disciplinary action against them. The pair were fined and suspended after a dispute with former manager Graeme Murty in the wake of Rangers' 4-0 semi-final defeat by Celtic in April. The Ibrox club also said they were "disappointed that the decision seems to have been leaked before the club were advised of it by the SPFL". A Rangers statement added: "Decisions on such matters deal largely with procedural issues, not the conduct which gave rise to the club's sanctions. The club was only presented with a 40-plus page decision after 16:00 BST and will now take some time to consider matters before deciding how to proceed." Wonders will never cease but no doubt they will win the appeal.
  11. All about opinions. There is now way to prove that the SFA/SPFL and Ref Panels are biased towards the Glasgow Two but most Scottisn football fans believe ( like myself ) that important decisions always seem to go their way. Is it coincidence?..... I think not.
  12. In your honest opinion do you believe that certain clubs in the SPFL are treaded more fairly than others by the SFA/SPFL.
  13. The Rangers and their playing staff give their opinions at every available opportunity on every decision that goes against them. This seems to work as most are overturned and it also keeps their fans onside. There is no football club in the World that would get off with the statements that they make on a regular basis. Response from the SFA/SPFL...…..silence. All what Scottish fans want is a level playing field.
  14. The club has this morning received confirmation it has been unsuccessful with the appeal for the red card shown to Michael Devlin last weekend. We are extremely disappointed with this outcome, which will now mean Michael misses our important league match against St Johnstone after the international break. The club will be making no further comment. Not unexpected, but fans across the country are saying it is unacceptable that the club will be making no further comment. Dignified silence no longer works in Scottish football.
  15. From where I am standing the SFA make up the rules as they go along. This all started with the hun's red card at Pittodrie. Right or wrong it is all a matter of opinions. These guys at the SFA who make the decisions WILL be up on the rule changes I would imagine. Buck stops at the SFA.
  16. I can’t understand those concepts. If there is brutality it’s not the referee who should be involved, the police would be lifting players. It goes back to violent conduct because excessive force is subjective – do we bring in the player who was kicked and ask them how sore it was? If you punch someone does it really matter how hard the punch was? It’s still a punch. If we’re talking about terms of brutality, will it take a GBH to get sent off? https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/3163823/sfa-rangers-allan-mcgregor-charlie-richmond/ What millstones around their necks the SFA have made for themselves. Absolute joke.
  17. 5th August Steven Gerrard: Refereeing decisions have been going against Rangers for seasons - someone should give me answers. The SFA have answered Gerrard's question... P/S Why do members ratings fluctuate mostly downwards ?
  18. Straight from the Horse's Mouth. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/4112/reasons-fast-track-tribunal-morelos.pdf
  19. Allan McGregor will not face any action from the Scottish FA after an altercation with Celtic's Kristoffer Ajer on Sunday. It was alleged The Rangers goalkeeper kicked out at the Celtic defender during the first half of the 1-0 win for Brendan Rodgers' side.Three former match officials were consulted but did not reach a unanimous agreement to take the matter forward. All three of the ex-category one referees must arrive at the same decision for a notice to be raised. Alleged, it was a definite kick out, how on earth can they not see that from the replay.
  20. BBC Scotland Gossip page: Jim Goodwin is the favourite to replace axed Alan Stubbs. Gus MacPherson is a front-runner to replace Stubbs. Jim McIntyre is thought to be the front-runner to succeed Stubbs. Gossip at it's best from BBC
  21. The other thing is, he will be back on BT Sport as an "expert" pundit giving his views on how games should be played. Every cloud.
  22. The huns are not a happy lot. Their fans are being charged an average of £35 per ticket for European games while Celtic will be charged £24 per ticket. The two English sides still in the competition are even cheaper still - with Chelsea charging an average of £20 per ticket while Arsenal are just £15.50. Somebody has to pay for all their new signings.
  23. There is an image on the go of Eamonn Brophy pulling the shirt of Devlin BEFORE he went down. If this red card is upheld the corrupt folk at the SFA/SPFL will be there for all to see.
  24. All the Scottish Football Media who claimed that The Rangers were the only club that would put up a title challenge against them this season have now gone very quiet. Now it is a building job for them.
  25. Blue does not go with the red and white Aberdeen logo.
