  1. George Peat https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45550817 So what. Well done that chairman, hope it was Milne, but more than likely the Celtic chairman. The SFA have helped Rangers out for years before and after that incident.
  2. Agree with this. May is probably brilliant in training with his team mates, but knows inside he will come to no harm in the challenges. That's why using him as a sub will keep his game time to a minimum and maybe he will not think about getting injured and play how he used to. Then again.
  3. Watching it live I thought it was not a penalty at the time. No penalty.
  4. A few folk calling for DM to go after the display yesterday. I am not in that camp but we really need to get back to winning matches again. If we win against Motherwell all will be well, but another draw or loss may turn the majority of fans against the manager.
  5. No, May IS total mince. He ran around like a headless chicken again. He did nothing. How the hell can D.M not see this, The fans do.
  6. Agree. He was rubbish again today. Loan him out to a Championship club or use him as a sub. Watching the game he did nothing at all to contribute to the game.
  7. Much better second half from the Dons. Got better when May went off. No penalty at the end of the game. Will take the draw and move on.
  8. Get May off at half time. Waste of space. Great cross and he heads it back to the St Johnstone keeper. Enough is enough. Not a good feeling watching this game.
  9. McDiarmid Park looks like an alien crop circle
  10. Hope so. Full line Up Lewis Logan Shinnie Considine McKENNA Forreseter Gleeson McGINN GMS May Lowe
  11. I really hope that May steps up to the plate today. He has been the only person who has benefited from our injury situation. Wil not hold my breath though.
  12. The bit I can not understand about RED TV International coverage is they say very hard to stream from grounds unless game is covered by TV companies. Apart from BBC ALBA showing the full game at 1800 tonight, every game in the Scottish Premiership is covered for highlights later. Maybe someone can enlighten me.
  13. GAME DAY If any fuckers are interested
  14. Steve Clarke has taken legal action in his battle with the SFA, who have charged both him and the club for bringing the game into disrepute. “Myself and the club will have legal representation,” he said. “I think the charges are serious enough for that. We can lighten the mood in here when we talk about it, but these are serious charges; I don’t like being told that I’ve brought the game into disrepute when I look at a statement and see nothing wrong with it. We will see more of this unless something is done quickly to sort this out.
  15. SFA hit back over fierce criticism of their disciplinary procedures https://plzsoccer.com/sfa-hit-back-over-fierce-criticism-of-their-disciplinary-procedures/
  16. St Johnstone v Aberdeen | Live VIDEO TRIAL As part of an ongoing trial, we are hoping to bring live video coverage of Saturday’s match to RedTV International subscribers
  17. I was looking around to see why Queens Park sold Hampden on the cheap and found out why. We have been the owners of Scotland's National Stadium for the past 115 years. No-one can take that heritage away from us. But perhaps the time has now come for us to accept that Scottish Football in the 21st century has changed, and that in order to survive we too have to change. We have an opportunity to ensure the survival of the Queen's Park Football Club, free from potential liabilities. The National Stadium Company face a £4.5m bill for the repayment of debenture seats sold in 1999. They would also be required to return half of a £24m Millennium Commission grant handed over as part of a £60m upgrade 18 years ago if Hampden's status as 'The National Stadium' ends before 2040. Queens Park were facing liabilities of £16m and Hampden would have to be pulled down if not sold to the SFA. Good reason to sell for £5 Million but will the SFA still have to pay another £16 Million in bills.
  18. St Johnstone FC wishes to advise Aberdeen fans of a significant change in arrangements for tomorrow’s match at McDiarmid Park. IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ABERDEEN FC SUPPORTERS Due to a burst water main the road way at the rear of the North Stand is unsafe to use and as a result of this the North Stand will remain closed tomorrow. All Aberdeen fans who have pre-purchased North Stand tickets will therefore be accommodated in the South (Ormond) Stand at the opposite end of the stadium. The row and seat numbers are the same in both stands and so existing row and seat numbers as shown on tickets for the North Stand should be used in the South Stand. There are a small number of pay at the gate tickets available in that South Stand. Aberdeen fans who have pre-purchased West Stand family deal tickets or who plan to use the pay at the gate facility in the West Stand are unaffected by this change. Stewards will be on hand to provide assistance if required.
  19. Dave Cormack on Twitter: In the spirit of transparency, which there should be more of in football, we’ll wait to see the written explanation in the next few days. We produced crystal clear footage of Mikey’s shirt being pulled from 3 different angles at 3 different speeds. And with no retaliatory kick! That looks to me that AFC sent the SFA the footage but was never mentioned in the appeal report.
  20. May be wrong, but I am sure Aberdeen sent them video evidence with Devlin's shirt pull to try and get the red overturned but was totally ignored by them.
  21. The Tribunal viewed the video footage of the incident, supplied by the Claimant, at different angles and in real time and in slow motion, and carefully considered the Claimant’s written submission. Having done so, the Tribunal found that the Kilmarnock No 25 was getting ahead of the Player, and was in control of the ball and heading towards the Claimant’s penalty area and goal when he was challenged by the Player. There were no other players on the field of play between the Kilmarnock FC No 25 and the Claimant’s goalkeeper. The Tribunal found that the Player’s contact with the Kilmarnock FC No 25 caused the latter to fall to the ground and prevented his progress with the ball towards the Claimant’s goal and therefore denied him an obvious goal scoring opportunity. The Tribunal further found that the Referee was well positioned to see the challenge and make his decision. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/4270/reasons-fast-track-tribunal-devlin-aberdeen-fc.pdf What a pile of garbage. How can a player 40 yards from goal and Logan racing back to cover and Lewis to beat in goal be an obvious goal scoring opportunity No mention of any shirt pulling.
  22. The SFA seeks clarification from world governing body Fifa over what constitutes a red card ahead of this weekend's games. It has sent a video package to the footballing authorities of controversial incidents looking for guidance. Some people may say this is the right course of action. I say the SFA are making Scottish Football the laughing stock of world football. How can they make judgements on important incidents and admit they do not understand the rules of the game. Pure madness.
  23. No team official under SFA jurisdiction shall "in any manner likely to lead to publicity (i) criticise the decision(s) and/or performance(s) of any or all match official(s) in such a way as to indicate bias or incompetence on the part of such match official; or (ii) make remarks about such match official(s) which impinge on his character". Steve Clarke have been charged by the Scottish FA over comments made criticising the governing body's disciplinary process after Gary Dicker lost his red-card appeal. Would imagine that Derek McInnes will also be charged for his comments. I have lost count in the number of comments that Sevco and their players have made against match officials and is met with complete silence from the SFA. Absolute joke.
