There is a ridiculous notion that persists in some peoples minds that because someone was a hard player or a horrible bastard on the pitch that that somehow how makes them more likely to get the best out of players as they will somehow knock their own attributes into them. Often its the very attributes that they showed on the pitch that makes them unsuited to man management and I say this in direct response to those who would tout guys like Brown as just what the current squad needs to give them a good boot up the arse.
We are a formidable team now, full of character and with superb fitness.
Couldn't really ask for more at the moment. McInnes has worked wonders and deserves all the praise that he is getting.

Pawlett to pick up his long overdue injury to ensure that we'll be playing either Scott Vernon or a 14 year old boy in the middle of the park come the middle of September
Sometimes it good development though Mav. Im thinking of Mcleish getting played in centre mid when he first came into the team because Willie Garner was the centre half. It doesnt always harm them
Lets hope not. Its bad enough being without Robson for this one, losing the extra bit Jack provides would leave us a bit toothless in the midfield. Fingers crossed its a minor knock
We have a team this year with the guile and determination that has been lacking for a number of years.
DM definitely seems to be doing something right and the players seem to want to play for him.
Lets see how we perform against racellicbyraway but I'm starting to feel quietly confident- keep it up boys!
Yeah was thinking that I would rather see him making a number of clinical strikes within the box rather than the odd rasper but hey if he does that every week then the Dons support may get behind him
Great news, took me by surprise as it bucks the recent trend of players at Scottish club fecking off after a decent season. Boy said he enjoys living in the city and playing for the team and he's proved it. Well done Son
The logic behind that escapes me DD. Why would Hartley give up his full time job for an interim appointment with no guarantees of a job at the end of it?
Stranger things have happened I suppose
Good news on the debt front. Well done MIle and Aberdeen Asset Management in writing off nearly £6 million between them

That's 3 wins at Killie, St Midden and Hibs. Venues we don't always do particularly well at.
Pity the Huns weren't around for us to break our duck at Mordor
