  1. It's supposed to be a joke. Stop taking life so serious you old cunt.
  2. Greglaw_1 - that's the twitter page advertising the Ellon bus.
  3. Lewis Logan Devlin McKenna Lowe Ferguson Shinnie GMS May Wright Anderson That's the team to win the cup.
  4. Currently "saving my energy" to make the stadium better. ?
  5. Saw some boy on twitter saying they've a bus from Ellon with spare seats. Don't remember the account name, sorry.
  6. Beach End At Hampden Beach End At Hampden Again Beach End At Hampden Beach End At Hampden Again And repeat to the tune of “Roll out the barrel”
  7. I would be genuinely surprised to learn that anyone at the Evening Express has ever been to a game in their life. What a cringeworthy rag. "To help get in the mood for the big day, the Evening Express has teamed up with Aberdeen FC to produce thousands of masks to help the Red Army strike fear into Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops." https://buff.ly/2TLtAKS
  8. According to Tam Cowan, Niall McGinn was getting booed by the Aberdeen fans after giving the ball away for the first goal. That true?
  9. The Ferguson one is shite. Not worth repeating. Sam Cosgrove one had Burnley and Hampden bouncing though.
  10. Kingsford survey here. https://s.surveyplanet.com/__9J2WAya
  11. Yep, would like to see us go for Scott Allan. If Aberdeen can put a decent gap between us and Hibs, then he may have the choice of a mid-table Hibs side and an Aberdeen one pushing at the top end for Europe with the league cup already in the bag.
  12. Just over 3,100 tickets left on the ticket portal. Hibs say they've sold 1,000. So crowd of 16,000+ likely.
  13. It's based on feedback, on fans saying they want to be able to sit with their mates and that limiting sales meant they couldn't, as that this was impacting in the atmosphere. So in this instance the club should be commended for listening to feedback. Needs worked on - maybe every person should have a minimum number of loyalty points.

    Aberdeen Mad

And I'll repeat my now deleted post. You're saying it's wrong for Rangers to mock child abuse, but using kids dying in the Ibrox Disaster to point score. And, did the tragedy not happen because one guy fell creating a domino effect? Are you basically wrong about everything RS?
  15. Someone suggested (don't know if they're correct as club haven't answered it), that the whole South Stand would have been closed due to not having enough toilets and catering facilities. But what I want to know is, did Uefa actually say this to Aberdeen, or do Aberdeen look at the UEFA guidelines and take them as read, ignoring the fact most clubs get dispensation.
  16. " The fact that you contest it may be revealing" Weird comment, but then it's from you and baffling comments are the norm. I was actually talking about the bounce down at Burnley in the away leg. I didn't actually say it was better than Hampden, but in that exact moment - the result is irrelevant because it's the goal we were celebrating - it was just as gorgeous.

    Aberdeen Mad

Mods, why was my reply to rocket scientist deleted?
  18. Fans have had a chance to give their views on Kingsford. They haven't been given a chance to debate what could be done with Pittodrie.
  19. Best bounce in 28.5 years? Actually, the Burnley bounce was cracking. And it'll be three league cups in a few weeks. You got the McInnes wage slip yet to show us?
  20. Wasn't there, but been reading some of the comments on it. Training facility cost has risen to £11.5m due to ground works proving more problematic, and the club have now decided to install a hybrid training pitch (and will install one in stadium too). They say had Aberdeen made group stages of Europa League, capacity would have been 13,000 due to Uefa restrictions. This hasn't been explained anywhere, doesn't sound very plausible. No-one there appears to have questioned them on it.
  21. Petition to save Pittodrie doing the rounds on Twitter. https://www.gopetition.com/petitions/save-pittodrie.html#.W-BcDzQGJZQ.twitter
  22. Another route (and a good way to skip the queues at central) is to get the low level train to Rutherglen. Maybe a 20 minute walk from there. Edit: Actually just googled it and it's more like 30-35 mins walk. But it is at least at the East/Aberdeen side of Hampden, and won't be many people queuing for it. We do it all the time for Scotland games to beat the long queues at central.
  23. Paul Lambert being appointed Ipswich boss tomorrow.
