Can't believe he thinks Rogic fouled Jack ( The Snake ) in the lead up to their goal, never in 2 million years was that a foul. Didn't take Gerrard long though, did it, to buy into the cretinous, monotonous pish about being cheated, being a class above teams etc... etc... A class above, yet level on points with us & by our own standards, we've been well below par. Fuck you, you fucking rat.
-
They most certainly did, not everyone of course and others had many different & valid reasons for having a strong dislike of him, but the way he spoke was definitely a deal breaker for some. Anyway, back on topic, watched McInnes on RedTV afterwards in his interview & noticed something I haven't noticed with him before, he barely looked up when talking, he looked at the ground, he looked concerned. He usually looks the interviewer in the eye, but yesterday, he rarely did that.
-
That there, was one of my pet hates when Calderwood came into much criticism, folk used to say it was his accent they hated and wasn't suitable for that of an AFC manager
-
Indeed A llad insane, another needless booking today, but I think it's only his 2nd this season so far? Going back to McInnes and his RedTV interview yesterday, he has said himself he sees Shinnie as a CM & said that Graeme himself sees himself as a CM now. Think that pretty much nips any notion of him ever going into LB again, in the bud.
-
After listening to his interview on RedTV yesterday, he said if we win vs Killie, we'd be on 8 points, which is exactly where he " predicted we would be " So he's basically saying he'd be playing for 2 points against Rangers & Hibernian respectively? Or he realistically doesn't think or believe he can beat either team this season? Thought that was a fucking perplexing comment. He 100% said it, I may be knicker wetting, but that was his words " If we get 3 points tomorrow, we're on 8 points, which is exactly what I predicted "

Sean Wallace of the EE saying Hoban definitely needs surgery and will be out for 2-3 Months

Bitterly disappointing way to go into the break, in 8th place, a good few injuries, defeat at home and 7 points behind Hearts already, who occupy 1st place despite signing a crazy amount of players. Max Lowe apparently played well and could be a useful addition. Shinnie got his obligatory yellow card for dissent and indeed his needless foul lead to them scoring directly from the free kick. Stevie May is useless, it's failed, we gave him a 4 year contract, he's not our answer and will never be whilst here ( unless he gets a partner, perhaps? ) We were certainly good in both legs against Burnley, wiped the floor against St Mirren, but the Rangers game was atrocious, Hibs last week was fucking infuriating & we scraped by Dundee, who are dismal, with a penalty, even they outplayed us and had numerous opportunities. Today, well of course it's difficult when you're down to 10 men early on, but Killie break that hoodoo and run out deserved winners. As I have just said on Social Media, a prediction that may be controversial, but I can't see us finish top 4 this season, even when everyone is back & fit. I hope we at least give ourselves an opportunity to win another Cup, a welcome distraction that could prove to be. Maybe a knee-jerk post, but I see very few positives.

We already need to reduce a 7 point gap on Hearts now for fuck sake. Bollocks.
-
Shinnie yet again, mouthing off and receiving a yellow card

McInnes saying on BBC Scotland there that he held a conversation with Steve Bruce 8-9 days ago and said to him not to wait until last minute to make an offer for McKenna. Villa's own fault completely then, but get the impression had Hoban & Reynolds been fit, it would have been accepted. On Wilson & Hoban by the way.... The Dons manager tells BBC Scotland Tommie Hoban may require surgery. "James Wilson was down to start today but unfortunately he's got a little bit of tightness in his hamstring," he said. "Tommie Hoban hurt himself in the goal last week at Hibs. He carried on manfully, but he needs surgery. We're sending him to Watford next week for a second opinion, but we'll be without him for a period of time."

Lewis Logan Shinnie Considine Gleeson McGinn GMS May Devlin Ferguson Lowe SUBS - Cerny, Forrester, Cosgrove, Ball, F Ross, Campbell, Anderson No James Wilson or Tommie Hoban in the squad, Ross dropped for McGinn & powederpuff May up front alone again. I have nothing against May personally, I just don't think he's the man for the job. Feel young Anderson, a player brimming with confidence AND scoring goals, albeit in the reserves, should get the nod.
-
They will be itching to get one over us after failing to do so last season. They will also be aggrieved at failing to overturn Dicker's ridiculous red card. Lewis Logan Devlin Considine Lowe Gleeson Shinnie McGinn Ferguson GMS Wilson ( Or Anderson if Wilson is injured ) 3-1 Aberdeen win ( GMS, McGinn & Shinnie )

Well, that's that then ( Unless we sign a free transfer I think ) What's everybody's take on our business this summer? A lot of angry people on Social Media, and I mean a lot, more than I anticipated, angry that we haven't added a CAM or another Striker. Did we try & fail with numerous targets or did we get who we wanted? Personally, i'd like to see Scott Wright get an opportunity in the CAM role if Forrester doesn't cut the mustard, too early to judge James Wilson obviously, but not sure I am overly happy with May & Cosgrove, in saying that, young Bruce Anderson is looking sharp & scoring goals for fun in the Reserves/Under 20's, Connor McLennan also, that boy isn't far away from first team football. I can't really decide myself if I am happy or not, I'd have taken Christie back on a permanent deal and would have been happy if there was truth in the Gauld rumour, other than that though, little underwhelmed with what is considered our main 3 Strikers. Wilson needs to deliver or I fear we're in trouble.

Aston Villa have approached us for McKenna now, Sky Sports saying we've rejected their advances. Apparently wanted him on loan, with an agreement to buy him in January for X amount of Million. Looks like a last minute panic offer.
-
Also, maybe been overthinking things a bit here, but I have a feeling that we've signed Lowe to keep Shinnie happy & persuade him to agree to a new deal. He knows his chances at International level are slim to none for the LB role, let's be honest about that ( Roberston, Tierney, Douglas etc.. ) all ahead of him in that position, Douglas perhaps so, but other two are definitely ahead. I am also fairly sure he's said openly in interviews that I have seen, he sees himself as a midfielder, although he's happy to play where the manager needs him to play. Granted with McKenna & Reynolds being injured, McKenna *possibly* on the move, we'll be shorter centrally, so Considine moves in there, where we know he's comfortable, Hoban can also play in there. So it does leave us short at LB should anything happen to Shinnie, and also Hoban is another doubt for Killie, I personally thought he struggled against Hibs and looked dead on his feet, he's not match fit in my opinion. So there are certainly alternative theories, but I feel Shinnie has stated his desire to be mainly a CM in any contract negotiations and therefore, we've added Lowe. We have plenty of cover now though, in defence and midfield, which is never a bad thing.
-
No need for reassessing the midfield Rico, the legendary Greg Tansey should be match fit by then.
-
Record also suggesting we have made an approach for Ryan Gauld, loan deal. Thon Peter O'Rourke from Sky Sports, who only tweets confirmed deals, ran with the Lowe deal, albeit it was from that HITC, not sure how accurate they are or have been. EDIT TO ADD - If Lowe is coming in, Considine has been our LB for years, Shinnie is obviously a natural LB, so it's not like we need one, something definitely on the horizon in terms of a player out. Also, we've signed Ferguson, Gleeson, Ball & Forrester, all midfielders, so it's not like we're short in there either.
-
I do have a feeling McKenna will be away.
-
Apparently signed a Left Back from Derby County, on loan, called Max Lowe.
-
Okay, so not a last minute winner, but I bet it felt like it for all those of a Motherwell persuasion
-
Must admit, I pay no attention to the Zombie cunts, but saw the whole Hartley/Cardoso thing, first of all, I am disappointed Hartley retracted immediately and apologised, and secondly, wouldn't it be fucking awesome if Hartley scored a 93rd minute winner I seriously hope Motherwell stick to their aggressive approach and really rile they cunts up, 1-0 Motherwell win, a couple of red cards & a touchline brawl will do nicely. Fuck, I might just watch this
-
It's just deflecting away from his failings again. He got it wrong yesterday, from the starting 11 to the whole 2nd half. If we hadn't seen the game, but heard that Hibs were the dominate team yet we've managed to come away with a Point, we'd be relatively happy, but the problem is, we all saw it & we could all see their goal was coming, we all saw Boyle constantly get the better of Considine, Efe Ambrose time and again marauding forward from CB to CAM, completely unchallenged, Gray & Stevenson getting all the time in the world hugging the touchlines. The only thing he got right eventually, was nullifying the lad Horgan. We were atrocious going forward, offered basically nothing, other than the goal, Bogdan had one save to make ( a good save from young Ferguson ) and Hibs immediately snuffed out our gameplan of getting the ball into the wide areas for May & GMS. Unfortunately too many players were second best, and looked lazy, very unlike them. Hibs took both their full backs off, and up until the 86th minute, we left one striker on, who got absolutely zero service. I am still very much miffed, and still thoroughly of the opinion that we threw 2 points away yesterday, couldn't make head or tail of the formation, where people were playing and it only got worse as the game went on, 2nd half especially.
-
Same feeling, but would probably do Killie a turn. I'd rather persevere with Ross, Wright & McLennan to be honest.
-
Because Considine was clearly struggling against Boyle, not Considine's fault, he's a CB as everyone on here as alluded too, yet he often gets hung out to dry against the speedy wide players of the opposition. Shinnie was non existent today, he was pish, he should have been left back as he's at the very least, a quicker player than Considine. @Baggy, totally disagree regarding Hoban, he was laboured and clearly struggling, he constantly gave the ball away with poor, lazy passes and his goal aside, was one of the worse players on the park. Same category as Gleeson for me, he will turn out to be a good signing, but needs to get up to match fitness sharpish.
