  1. Not arguing the gash comment, but when has he started? Definitely not the answer, but neither are sokler or nisbet,, or duk.
  2. 1 down and deservedly so. All killie. Brutal stuff, zero passes and just killie attacking.
  3. I look at this as JT knows what sokler and nisbet can do, or can’t, Ambrose has never started. Why not take a look before spending money? I think we all believe Ambrose isn’t good enough but why not give it a try. JT sees us as a long term project that he’s giving the guy a chance. now, shaky lineup, don’t think duk has done anything to show he can play 90 mins, and getting increasingly concerned that we keep changing the 11. Will be an interesting watch.
  4. McGrath was fine on the left and playing well at the start of the season. Things changed when duk came back and he’s been played left then middle, right, plus injured, also hasn’t been the same since he missed his penalty. Seems to have lost confidence, much like a few others. id prefer we went back to McGrath left and topi right, how the season and our good run came about. Long term we sign a left mid/winger but going back to what brought us success is the solution to me. as has been said too, I think we stick w sokler and see if he finds form. Given nisbet hasn’t become a permanent starter I assume it’s because he’s not seen as good enough. think we stick w ruby, he seems a confidence guy and dropping him at present may not be the answer, since JT doesn’t seem to rate Macdonald, why rotate. Also think we may see polvara at right back in the coming weeks. back to killie. They are ok at the moment and play on a shit pitch. 1-1, sokler.
  5. Agreed, but I don’t think January is an easy window and we have other priorities. We’re thin on depth that why not take a look at Jensen? A lot has been made of gueye and Morris under JT, why not see how Jensen responds?
  6. Agreed but ‘free’ and a position we need, cover and competition for Mackenzie and molloy.
  7. Agree with you jute, but given how we are dropping points, the term essential is what I’d use over priority. Delvin gimpy again yesterday, I worry he gets a long term injury. RB needed, preferably on who can play LB, although a mckimmie who can play anywhere at the back would be nice! thinking long term, as well as an experienced CB I’d also like Jensen recalled and looked at/given minutes. The fact we rarely see McDonald when that middle pair continue to gift goals says a lot, and we need options for Molloy and ruby. Plus Jensen can play LB too. stunned we chose Ambrose over ex hibee nisbet yesterday. Has to be a kick in the stones for nisbet and I hope he’s sent back to milwall. Get a legit forward in. When gueye is fit he’s not a 9 either so not the solution. Plus he’s not really a winger despite playing there, and we need another of those. Don’t mind that there’s no rumors of interest as we keep things tight, but that’s boring. Any links out there?
  8. Agree, Morris did virtually nothing but had little time to do much and by that time it was total shit anyway. Expected to see Morris and Macdonald at half time.
  9. Don’t think mitov would have made any difference today. When your defense is poor it’s tough for a team to be attack minded when you fear errors. Our central defensive pair are clearly our weak link and most goals conceded involves them. While I don’t think we were scared to attack, I do feel errors and mistakes at the back is in our head now. You’ve even seen mitov nervy pre injury. Ruby is accident prone and struggles as we saw today, mistake and he lost focus. As I’ve said before, Molloy is error prone too but he’s poor in the air and that’s something a central defender in our league needs to be strong at. Both are back ups and we’re starting to see consistent mistakes, something that position really cannot afford. First game I’d question our subbing. Morris is our super sub, why not include him at half time and McGrath was awful first half. We then hook clarkson who was much better than McGrath. We then play Ambrose which is like playing with 10.
  10. Absolute garbage today. All good until the first goal fuck up then total shit.
  11. Peter Ambrose. Game is ours now…
  12. Ffs
  13. All season it’s been central defense. Agree angus for ruby. Earlier in the season our mistakes weren’t being punished, now they are.
  14. Morris for McGrath at ht, don’t think Jamie has touched the ball.
  15. All too familiar central defensive blunder ffs.
  16. Nice to see us back to ‘normal,’ our strongest 11 with the exception of mitov. Duk and morris impact subs. Said before that I don’t think clarkson and McGrath like this is great but it’s the best we have until we sign a legit left winger. 3-1 us, clarkson sokler duk
  17. I remember being impressed with mason hancock and was surprised we let him leave. Still at airdrie??
  18. What’s the injuries to Milne and Vinny??
  19. My Xmas list has a full back who can play both sides, a left winger, and a center forward. If Santa really cares he’ll get us a stud of a central defender too.
  20. Sorry to hear man. Really surprised about the tattoo policy, didn’t know they could do that….but I don’t know much.
  21. Bubble definitely has burst, another poor performance. That’s 5 games in two weeks and our lack of squad depth is apparent. I was worried we’d lose that at the end when we pulled Milne and they got chances. We have to remember that it’s still many of the same players from a failing team. While it’s on the team, another game where we get absolutely nothing from our center forward. Also thought McGrath was non existent, don’t want us to continue with both him and clarkson at the same time. Duk got his assist and morris has to come in second half to similar effect. That helps us and works. He isn’t effective as a starter.
  22. Devlin gets the much needed rest, good game to see what Milne can actually do!
  23. Same with me here in the states with MLS and I’ve been here since the beginning of MLS, zero interest!! haven’t looked too hard but any info on the young winger we were loosely linked with in the summer? Did he stay there or move to Europe??
  24. Would love to see Vinny get the start on the left and duk on the bench, topi right w McGrath at 10. Nisbet at 9 but losing interest in him. need the win, will take anything but I say we play well and 3-1. Goals from McGrath nisbet and I’ll go with mcgarry getting one too!
  25. Really curious to how this window plays out, both coming and going. Not a great window, summer is the more opportunistic window obviously. JT surely now has a good feel for the squad and knows needs/wants, and that he can keep/move on. devlin will run himself into the ground. Didnt see the celtic game but he certainly tired against hearts, think it would be great if we can pick up a squad player who can play right and left back. Obviously Mackenzie staying/going is a factor there too. we’re weak in central defense, do we bring in a loanee, sign now, or wait until the summer? I think summer will be the answer and incoming from Scandinavia, and we continue to develop ruby and Molloy for now. We’re weak at left mid, plus McGrath may not stay even though he’s played 10 of late. Would be nice to bring in there, maybe a loanee as we did hoilet for the latter part of last season. up top is a concern, I’d prefer we sent nisbet back and tried to get another player in. Sokler and duk can play there too, topi possibly, but would be nice to get someone else there. plenty of fringe players can go if we get offers, but I am certainly thinking we may look to cash in duk and McGrath as we have options to them. Losing Mackenzie now would be a blow and I expect him to be with us until summer.
