  1. Nah min,Scotland to win the titles a good shout....
  2. If youre admitting listening to that ,I'll admit to liking this.Way out my comfort zone ... Another band worth a listen
  3. Top priority for me now would be a confidence builder C/B,and spend whatevers left on the other areas Would be happy taking a chance with either Maloney or May,but not both. Poaching a few more knocking on the first team door youngsters wouldna go amiss either, preferably over 7 stone....
  4. Pleasantly surprised and delighted. Cheers Joe
  5. Quality Malaga min..
  6. Just seen the Dons flag at the Biffy Clyro gig.A heart warming moment...and aye Chic are surprisingly good Settling down with a couple of Ossian golden ales after an afternoon up the Deeside hills
  7. Quite a smart looking top IMO,but club should have foreseen the backlash unless its a cunning ploy to sell more home tops....
  8. Agreed ED,a lot of pant wetting across the boards.Only 10 days since McInnes confirmed he was staying, who may have had to change his targets since then.
  9. Outside enjoying the evening sun after a frantic weeks work, but unfortunately chose a German wheat beer for tonights tipple.....
  10. Ken this, I'd rather just roll up at the start of the season and see who weve signed when the players come out, than this palaver
  11. Northern Gannets min.I noticed around 119,244 on St Kilda. The largest colony in the world.largest colonies in Europe of puffins, fulmars and some others.
  12. Maloney looking likely to re-sign for Hull, and Preston reluctant to sell May(back page of P and J)
  13. Lindsay off to Barnsley http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40344932 Boyce away too
  14. Nae probs. Not long back from Lewis. Some fine drives, beaches and walks next time youre up.St Kilda definitley worth a visit,if you can handle the boat trip
  15. Reading else where weve sold just under 8000.Given the uncertainty about Del,while waiting on signings and the local economy, not an unreasonable amount? Would be hopeful of getting 10k plus STs sold once some signings come in.....
  16. Another way of looking at it - Personally think Christie could be more influential than eg,McGinn. If you deduct McGinns non efforts(allegedly ) v Celtic, you could argue we may be getting better value with this deal. I liked McGinn, but I think Christie brings an extra enthusiasm and buzz to proceedings which we sometimes lack. Replacing Hayes is another matter, though it may be more a case of altering our style a bit, than trying to replicate him?
  17. Yogi on hold for a couple of years. Happy daze....
  18. Well flip me,thats a bonus http://www.afc.co.uk/home.php
  19. Still clinging to the hope Mcinnes gets cold feet, but if he goes,McLeish or Black would be a backward appointment IMO.Wright doesnt inspire much, but may improve at a bigger club without the restraints of st J,but worth the risk? Rather a young manager like Neil or Archibald(as others have said in the 'next Aberdeen manager' thread )
  20. Inverness Reds also mentioning Dean Holden, highly rated at Falkirk and Bristol(not that Ive heard of him ) http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/06/13/por-aberdeen-consider-bristol-city-coach-holden/?utm_medium=share%2Bbutton&utm_campaign=social%2Bmedia&utm_content=/en-gb/2017/06/13/por-aberdeen-consider-bristol-city-coach-holden/&utm_source=Twitter
  21. Must admit,I looked forward to Storey signing too ,ach well. Only place im seeing the Stewart rumour is in the P and J,not sure how much substance...
  22. Similar memories. The flags were out for weeks after some of those games.Only game I got to was the '86 Gough game, but, unfortunately havnt watched any of the last few years games(gloryhunter that I am )
  23. Weve sold around 7k so far. I'll probably renew, but understand others holding off for now
  24. Dunno,havnt been that far North(not hilly enough )
  25. Right, where was I. If interested in Bruach na frithe, theres the route I described in the hills and outdoors thread, but if not confident, this is the tourist route https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/skye/bruachnafrithe.shtml Apart fae the Cuillins, skye itself doesnt do too much for me,as opposed to other areas on the west coast. Plenty eateries in Broadford and Portree. If in the elgol area, this one is worth a try http://coruiskhouse.com/,or if thats not for you, this place near Talisker(home of the Talisker distillery - worth a visit) http://www.theoldinnskye.co.uk/index.php?id=13 The three chimneys is a top notch eatery if you want to impress http://www.threechimneys.co.uk/(never been myself) On your way up to,or back from Rhiconich,a lazy drive along the coast is worthwhile.Theres lots of good beaches en route at Achmelvich,Achiltibuie,Gruinard and if its a fine day Stac Pollaidh is worth a climb,by the roadside, about an hour up an hour down, and only 650 ish metres, but if weathers good, rewards are great. Plockton is worth a visit, lovely setting. The hotel has an outdoor bar,and good food, along with another couple of good eateries nearby. If time though,I'd recommend the drive down the Glenelg road all the way to Corran.Away from the tourists,Great views en route, nice walks from the road end along the coast or in the hills, and a chance to visit the legendary Sheenas tea hut at Corran.Couple of Brochs at Glenelg to visit too,and the GlenElg inn is a fine pub/eatery,along with the Kintail Lodge hotel
