  1. ) Good stuff. Aye,met a bunch of Chinese tourists on Skye.Came to the conclusion they were minkers with money personally, maybe just a bad batch,(probably not) Nephews nae long back from touring S America.Amazing places and people.Plenty room for pics on the Outdoors thread
  2. Instrumental guitar - Stephane Wremble Steve Kimock -
  3. Pleasing to give St Js a good hiding for a change .We were good, not amazing, but the important thing was the improvement, and a this was a far more cohesive performance. Wasnt sure about Rooneys inclusion, but a spring heeled performance from him(won most of his headers ),and showing he still has the knack of being in the right place Defence was good,O'Connor a wee bit careless at times but think he could grow into that new role.MacLean was good IMO,and I think we'll get more out of Stewart over time too if we give him more game time.May worked his socks off, would like to bring him more into the action higher up the pitch Only criticism as mentioned,at 3 nil up get a few youngsters on earlier
  4. In or Oot - In Furryboots - Mainer Pre - Sunrise wander up Culblean hill en route to a job at Crathie Post - Ellon visiting Prediction - Who knows 3 - 3 McKenna hat trick Crowd(at the game) - 11'167
  5. Close there. Tansey on for Ball
  6. Missed a game recently because of back spasms apparently... Rooney on GMS off, 4 3 3?
  7. Howler from Lewis
  8. Team for tonight.Make of it what you will.... Lewis Logan OConnor Reynolds Considine Shinnie MacLean Ball GMS Christie May
  9. He must feel having Tansey now gives us more chance of getting to the semis in the first place.By that time Ball might be more up to speed to fill his place...
  10. Delving the archives, Deep Purple - Never before
  11. Tanseys available for this, delaying surgery til after the next 2 games, and will be out for around a month after that. Oot for this one Pre / post - work / hame Prediction - A wishful 2 - 0 win.Got a decent record there, plus the odds say we're about due a good performance - Christie,Tansey
  12. If it means we find our best eleven why not.Would you have kept Reynolds in instead of Arnason? Most of us thought Maynard might be a good addition. Alongside May today was worth a try......if only to conclude he's maybe not that up to much, but how longs a reasonable amount of time to try? I would stick with that back 4 for now,and Shinnie and Tansey or Ball in the middle. Not sure about the front lot yet, maybe theyre not firing because the midfields not settled....
  13. Its a poor result no doubts, but McInnes cant win at the moment.I sort of admire him for trying out different things because he's looking(I assume) for better.Nobodys been comfortable with the defence this season,so he changed it again today, and Arnason looked pretty good. That might be a bit of tinkering that pays off longer term. Were assuming its tinkering that was the problem, but it sounds like we started well, and Killie took us a bit by surprise after their substitution, played well.Maybe a case of lacking the drive and urgency to get back into it.Would maybe have had Tansey or Ball in beside Shinnie(who wasnt great),and we missed Christies energy and creativity, who was possibly dropped because him and MacLean cant play int the same team? MacLean played ok first half, but would have Christie ahead of him,or drop Maynard There was a lot of games last season where we would have looked as ordinary as we did today if it wasnt for Johnny Hayes bombing forward. We need someone to dictate a good tempo and the forwards to learn how to link up better or be more alert to each other
  14. Any thoughts on our line up the morn jessy?
  15. Been a shite week for those of us that work outside,so relaxing tonight with a Lindemanns cabernet sauvignon. Had meant to be a few of us up Lochnagar the morn but some cancelled at the last minute,so half days work the morn instead Almost went for a bottle of "The shy pig"but didnt want to be seen buying a £3.99 wine Nice wine btw(Lindemanns)
  16. You mean the thread you replied to further up this page? ....unless there was another thread, since deleted?....
  17. The IYBY Aurora
  18. Caught a wee swatch of this at lunchtime. Not sure what stage in the process this is,but I was surprised at the simplicity of the questioning and comments, and lack of scrutiny...
  19. i would have him just above Clark, and just below Snelders,at present...
  20. Dont try photobucket now, theyre trying to charge for their services, and removing your photos if you dont cough up.try flickr instead https://www.flickr.com/ or image shack Speaking of photos,my avatar disappeared because of photobucket and have since tried to upload the same photo via flickr. Have also tried with tinypic. All I'm getting is the frame without the picture(<<<see left).anyone know what I'm doing wrong? When i type in the url in the "specify your own avatar by URL" box in the forum profile thing it doesnt appear, but does when I type it on this page http://
  21. Whats evreyones thoughts on this one? Hopefully Del goes for a more straight forward line up.Fancy something like this my self, though not sure if Ball and O'Connor together works Lewis Logan O'Connor Ball(or Reynolds) Considine Tansey Shinnie Stewart Christie Wright May In or Oot - Not sure yet Furryboots - Main stand if in Pre/Post - Driving Prediction - A hopeful 3 nil win - Christie x2, May
  22. Had a feeling today might be a damp squib.A crumb of consolation in we played shit, and Hearts very well, but didnt lose, and from what I gather,Ball had a decent debut. Obvious the teams still unsettled/getting to know each other, but I dont think it matters what formation we play,Rooney doesnt seem to be able to offer us enough these days unfortunately.Stewart and May would have been far more inventive. And am a wee bit tired of wanting MacLean to click.Definitely a player there, but we just havnt found how to get it out of him regularly. Would drop both for Killie. As for the rest of defence/midfield,looks like a few more weeks of tinkering If we can find the right tempo and attitude more regularly(unlike today second half),and keep things respectable til it settles down.....
  23. My obese neighbours(semi detached, thin walls) rekindled love life at the age of 60 ish.
