  1. Edit - Slim's got it
  2. Re Lowe, last I heard it was along the lines of 'doubtful, but do all we can to have him available' Can see both scenarios tomorrow, they get an early goal and we cave in....or we shitfest a narrow win. I'll say a draw and we win the replay
  3. Also thought I'd noticed a bit more of a scowl about McInnes the last few months. Whether he's unhappy personally or professionally I dont know, but,if I was him I would consider moving on at the end of the season.A big reason for not wanting him out before now,has been the lack of obvious candidates to replace him with, and am also still appreciative of where were at,coming from where we've been, without being over excited at the style of football on display. But I just think we're reaching a natural parting of the ways point But,if he does leave, even if the remainder of this season doesnt work out as planned,he'd still leave with a good enough reputation to command a reasonable job elsewhere.I would hope he's earned the right to leave without being hounded out.Staying another season, having a similar or worse campaign than this one could quickly damage his image and reputation IMO. No idea who could replace him,Steve Clarke is now a long shot, but thats the chance we'd take
  4. Washed down with Cremola foam
  5. Good stream. Watched bits in between chores this afternoon. Looked a pretty tidy performance. Wasn't looking forward to this one.,but some away record were building up. Fingers crossed for results the morn. COYR
  6. My tuppence worth, I think a player like Wright needs to be playing in a side playing quicker tempo fitba and sees a lot of the ball,eg where he doesnt get time to doubt. His head seems to go down too quickly when things dinna come off,so possibly also an attitude or self discipline problem,...which could be man managed.McInnes provides a great work environment but not so strong in the man management side IMO
  7. If you mean the bitty at Dyce then Yasss.Took me 3 attempts to get onto the right road for Ellon the other day
  8. Cant comment on alcoholism myslef, but I wouldnt overdwell on the fact youve started drinking again, and maybe have a look at where you were at before you started drinking. Its easier in middle age to take your eye off the ball healthwise and allow yourself to drift into a fa gives a shit attitude.Maybe youve become stuck in an overfamiliar dull lifestyle? Unfit sedantry living? Something like that, drifted in to drinking.? Dont underestimate what were still capable of at that age.A better focus might help Hopefully nae too patronising, and good luck getting to the bottom of it.Hillwalkings half the answer obviously
  9. Nae quite restaurants per se,but a couple of good eateries.Have only been in the Sitting room,Portlethen for coffees/breakfasts,but we went in after the fitba for a sit down meal. Good food, clean environment, friendly, chatty atmosphere, and able to have a beer/wine at the table. One of the best/biggest bits of fish Ive had Have driven past Lil C's near Oyne many times without knowing it was there. There today after a walk up Dunnydeer hill(the one with the stone archway on the summit.fine wee viewpoint, - one for sunset).Again, not haute cuisine, but good food, good atmosphere, clean and modern
  10. Disagree about Willie Miller,..and not just because of who he is,but he's one of the more intelligent pundits.Agree with Ferguson, seems to genuinely love the game, with no obvious bias. As far as the wifies go,one of them, Eilidh Barbour?? has an annoying high pitch compared to the others.Another one,Heather Dewar is a bit insincere IMO.Tries to make Montrose v Albion game sound as important as Barca/Real. Not a huge fan personally, but if i had a choice between that and Alan Preston,John Barnes etc,ra burds awrawye
  11. What about it?
  12. In or Oot - In Furryboots - Mainer Pre - Working Post - Driving Prediction - Reluctantly coming to the conclusion that May and Stewart cant play in the same set up.I'd bench Logan and try Hoban at R/B as a wee wake up call.Surprised, and delighted at Sams purple patch, can see it continuing this Sat. Dons to win 4 - 1 Sam,Stewart...2 fae May off the bench to unsettle KFP Crowd 13,284
  13. Nah,Hearts or Celtic at home, plucky defeat to Killie in the final
  14. One of the bigots at home next.Get it out the way
  15. Didnt see that scoreline coming, certainly at the end of the first half. Wish we'd start off on the front foot. Tricky game out the way though, good chance of a tasty tie next round.Hopefully we're finding our best line up,along with Devlin and MacKenna joining up again
  16. Look back about 40 years during the Bonthrone years and we were playing in front of sub 10k home league games. The Scottish Cup comes round, and we played Motherwell(one of my earliest SC memories) in '75 in front of 25'000. Weird how its changed
  17. Its not great, but not any worse than SC crowds of the last 20 or so years.Sure there was a game v Hibs in Calderwoods time with only 8000.League crowds have remained steady, but SC ones have nose dived for some reason
  18. In or Oot - In Furyboots - Mainer Pre/post - Driving Prediction - Sort of game Cosgrove often does well in.Tricky one though, will take any ugly win 2 - 0 Dons Cosgrove brace
  19. 3 at the back with Lowe/Logan wide,or 4 at the back with Hoban sitting on front?
  20. Oot for this one, though to be honest its not my favourite fixture Just win loons, COYR
  21. Will give the Kagoul/Orange boiler suit combo a try out sometime Heading to the Nevis area this w/e, ....-12oC at the summit forecast , though I caught a peek of Lochnagar fae the Bypass looking inviting with its full covering of snow.Would love a crack at it like that.
  22. Someone on an Villa forum said an £8m bid had been accepted, but nothing has been heard since,so probably waffle
  23. Buttery update - The boy at the Grove shoppie on Union Grove is now selling Byron bakery butteries in place of Aitkens.I like them,in my top 3 along with Thains and the Breadmaker
  24. There was word that Aston Villa were also in with £8m for McKenna, but that seems to have cooled off the last hour https://twitter.com/focusavfc?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1090989053674168321&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.afc-chat.co.uk%2Fforums%2Findex.php%3Fshowtopic%3D41630%26page%3D53
  25. Take them all...Sounds like a screamer of an OG
