  2. 4 - 1 probably flattered us,but I'll take it.A defeat might have let the doubts in,but the result wont do our confidence any harm.Fair play Mitov for bailing out Molloy, who as said had been having a good game, but was out foxed/muscled for the pen(as far as I could see from the Y) Great strike from Palaversa for the first goal, and what a ball from Nisbet for the third, good to see Besuijen getting a goal. All in all an OK performance,we can do better, but a good day out for all the kids who were there.Fair play to Dundee though, thats one of their better sides Ive seen.Quick moving, smart thinking, just a bit lacking in the box.If thats a typical Doc side, then we should be having a word before Jimmy heads to Old Trafford
  3. I believe Donsdaft, occasionally of this parish passed away recently too.Not sure the full story, but a bit of a character on Abmad back in the day where I read about the news...
  4. Lucky to be level,Dundee much more efficient going forward.Penalty aside, they probably should have scored before now. Impressed with them. Might need to be the ShadyMo show again. Duk off,Topi left
  5. ....and the fact she lied about having black heritage to appeal to the black vote, when in fact shes of Indian/Irish descent(we'll ignore the former slave owning aspect of her family for now).Candace Owens(like her or not) did a very good expose of Harris' actual roots Citizenship to illegal migrants,(ahead of those waiting in queue legally),sanctuary cities, decriminalizing crime, defunding the police, explicit literature in kids classrooms. Self destructive stuff
  6. Wee bit nervy about this, been saying that the last few months though, but Dundee are a useful side.Looking forward to see what were made of post thrashing In Furryboots - SS Y Prediction 3 - 2 McGrath,Palaversa,Morris. Ps anyone know of Gueyes progress? Expected time of return. Was enjoying his unique brand of strikership Pps - just noticed it's an evening kickoff on Jutes comment. 'sake
  7. I'm undecided on the Abortion issue,so parking that subject aside, any time I've heard Vance speak, all I heard was common sense, despite the hype previously about him.
  8. Indeed,Coulda done without the scale of the defeat, but confident that Thelins aware of the issues that need addressed, and will get us closer to Celtic. ...And welcome back KFP
  9. Would have written us off for this one, even a few weeks ago,but this side continues to surprise. Am oot for this, enjoy your day out those going. Prediction - 2 - 1 Dons AET. Sokler, Pistol Pete in the 124th minute. COYR
  10. Speaking of the Dundee game, just got ticket, only 400 odd left
  11. He's barely played.Cheeky £750k offer?
  12. Haha,beautiful
  13. Morning ...and
  14. Strange,I just thought about him yesterday and how we hadnt heard from him. He'd mentioned some of his difficulties on here, poor guy.
  15. Ach,that'll do...
  16. GGTTH ...for the next 20 mins
  17. ^^^Well thats right
  18. Early highlights -
  19. Fair play to the visionaries on here who thought Morris still had something to give.... Some cracking balls into, and around the box today.Well done loon, hud g'an
  20. Ill take a late soaking on the Y,if it means getting a late winner,....in the unlikely provider of Peter Ambrose It was a patchy performance, but as others have said, you feel we're not seeing the finished article, but also confident that Jimmy sees the same thing, and theres still more to come from us.McGrath has been one of our more consistent performers, but he was pretty off it today, possibly as a result of not being used to the position he was in today, but hopefully he gets a run at it to see what he can do.We defended quite well, maybe missed Shinnies buzz in midfield. Interested to see the line up for Sevco.
  21. A bit frustrating so far,too often, passes not reaching the target, players running into dead ends.Utd been dangerous on the break, but not really had concrete opportunities.Surely improve second half.
  22. Roadworks should help dampen the enthusiasm, seems to be heaps the last year or 2. Check here for incomers https://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/services/roads-transport-and-parking/check-road-closures-and-diversions
  23. Possibly, but even going by punters in the ground,I'd say its more nowadays. As i edited above there was only 8000 for our first home game after we won the league in 1980.Imagine if we won it now.... Edit - Nah we played Utd in the first home game - 13'000,Morton a few weeks later in front of 9'600(AFC Heritage)
  24. Some of the crowds we get nowadays are better than peak Fergie era,...ie post ECWC in 83/84 our average gate was 17'500 when the capacity was 24'000.Three of the first 4 home games of that season were were only 13/14'000. Funny how crowds have gone up,not only us,but across the board in Scotland, when competition in the top league is less than back then Come to think of it,the first home game of the season after we won the league in 1980,I think there was only around 8000 there,v Morton?
