  1. Just an observation that we struggle against the teams we are closest to in the league. Taking the dhims out of it still leaves 6 from 15 with fartz still to play away to complete the set of fixtures. In my opinion we need better if we are to challenge for second by the end of the season especially as the zombies will spend money they don't have in the next window.
  2. 6 points out of a possible 21 from the four teams around us in the league does not inspire much confidence. More home than away also.
  3. Hayes is blowing more cold than hot these days. Maddison was never going to be allowed to do anything too constructive today and even when he does he is too greedy and loses possession. Jack is so negative and barely ever passes the ball forward and certainly nothing penetrating. Any of these players should have been off before McGinn or Pawlett today. McInnes says he had too many attacking players on at the start but for me our defence looked more shaky and vulnerable in the second half. Jack into midfield and a carthorse like Stockley contributed towards that. We lost that midfield battle and gave away possession way too cheaply and in the end were lucky to only lose two points.
  4. The other team got what they played for and McInnes proved yet again that he has nothing in his armory to counteract this. More excuses to follow.
  5. Thought the game was bad in the first half but I was wrong. This is really bad with no sign of improvement.
  6. Utterly abject game. We cannot break through the blue wall not that we have tried that hard. Referee in a complete cunt shocker just to add a talking point I guess.
  7. Exactly right and we can hardly call ourselves experts. The opposition managers must love playing us. Our quality players completely neutralised by OUR managers tactics.
  8. Mcinnes has lost my support now. His ego it seems is bigger than our club and there is not enough room for both. We are firmly on a downward trajectory while he stays in charge.
  9. To be honest I though he was just resting McGinn but now I get the feeling that something has happened. He could have replaced anyone after last weeks capitulation but DM obviously thinks otherwise. Thinking a 2 nil them now after seeing our line up. Would happily be proved wrong but also quite surprised.
  10. This was the only bit of decent news on a very bad day for sport All I can say is HAHA  Perhaps if it was a sport that actually had a level playing field I would have more sympathy but it is far from that.

    Clarkson

I find Clarkson to be a total bellend but if he wasn't I be as well sit and watch my next door neighbour doing whatever. The character he has created (real or not) is what I find entertaining especially the interaction with May and Hammond who deserve medals for putting up with him. Such a pompous twat who deservedly lost his job for being a child. What I find even more amusing is the offended bus that seems to be bursting at the seams these days. As for the Grand Tour. It is ok but missing some key elements from the old Top Gear but light years ahead of the drivel the BBC put out last.
  12. No not against the bigots but in previous games he has been less than prolific missing more than a few that Rooney of old would have buried. There is no one else I would rather be on the park to take a penalty but without any other contribution (goals) he is a luxury we can't afford. This is a big part of the reason we are slipping back into the clutches of the also rans.
  13. Undoubtedly Rooney is off form at the moment and there are no signs of any improvement anytime soon however I honestly do not see any benefit of playing Stockley as I don't think he is good enough. That said he could well prove me wrong if given the opportunity and I suppose at worst it might give Rooney a kick up the arse. One thing I would like to see tried is McGinn through the middle a position he excelled at when he first came here especially as he is a confidence player and scoring regularly would benefit him and the team. With Hayes and Burns on the wings and Maddison in behind I have a feeling that there would be plenty goals. Having Rooney as a sub would be none too shabby either. Never going to happen though
  14. If what you say is correct and a hun can't get motivated enough to get stuck into timmy then what chance do we stand next week when he is in rollover mode. I honestly believe he is misused by McInnes but mainly he is just really not that good.
  15. I am losing faith that McInnes has what it takes to move us forward given the resources he has at his disposal. He has a knack of playing good players out of position rendering them useless and then has them playing tactics that so clearly do not work and yet he persists with them. On the field I feel we have regressed over the past couple of years ... pretty much since cadger retired and Robson took a back seat which kind of proves that we have no natural leader on the park at the moment. Shinnie has potential for this but when he is played out of position not so much. We obviously need something to bolster our first team. Too many underperforming players and the new guys that have come in are just not up to scratch. Stockley .... carthorse. Burns .... quick but does nothing. Storey .... who? Maddison .... ok but a bit of a luxury player that can't tackle. O'Connor .... best of the bunch but is he really good enough? Lewis .... better than we have had and yet didn't really make a save yesterday. It would be good to see the momentum building again like during the "sheep are on fire" period but optimism is on hiatus at the moment.
  16. We could not really complained if the score was bigger than 3 nil to be honest. It scares me to think how bad it could have been if they had played well. We put nothing into the game we got nothing out. Not that I really care about what the neutral thinks but we must have been woeful to watch on the tv. We were dire and if not for the fans at the start we would have contributed fuck all to the spectacle. The club as a whole deserve all the flak they are taking for this.
  17. Would agree that McLean was our least worst player today although he did make a mistake getting caught on possession which almost lost us a goal.
  18. If Maddison is allowed to pull on the big boy pants then he is fair game for getting called out for not filling them. Sure he has good technical skill but he is extremely selfish and way too easily brushed off the ball which invariably left us having to attempt to defend a bigot attack. He will undoubtedly go onto bigger and better things .... not here though. Hayes was one of our worst performers today and I kind of felt a bit sorry for him. Every pass was miscontrolled and his passing wasn't much better. You could see his head go down and with it any chance of us threatening a comfortable Celtic defence. Looking forward I fear we will not win next Saturday. They outplayed us last time out and we were rather fortunate to get the win and I think Iprix will remain a mental hurdle that our manager does not have the keys to unlock.
  19. We rolled over like a bunch of schoolboys with limited confidence. Pass marks for none today after such a weak effort. Lewis over-rated. Maddison totally over-rated. Rooney invisible. Jonny had a shocker. Jack never a captain in a million years. Mcinnes sent us out to lose as far as I am concerned otherwise why would he send us out with the same tactics as the last two games which obviously worked a treat. Didn't expect to win but expected to see some pride shown.
  20. Should be a yes but there is something a bit too manly about her so a reluctant no. The action man lines and the fact that she looks like she would eat you alive (not in a good way) don't help.
  21. Not the quality of the original series but still an ok watch. It certainly has not fallen to the depths of "Only An Excuse" yet but then there isn't much to fall after that. Like the new series of Red Dwarf it works because of the nostalgia but probably won't attract many new viewers.
  22. Wish they would just die as a club but that would be just too decent of them. Financial fair play my arse.
  23. Money ... the root of all evil. Clubs used to be run by fans who would die for their club but now they are run by rich, selfish arrogant businessmen who think nothing of trampling the humble football supporter to make a quick buck. Developing technology makes this easier and short of a worldwide power failure irreversible.
  24. For all our "talent" up front we are really poor at carving teams open. The usual excuse is that we are rubbish against a team that sits in but it is obvious that we ain't no great shakes against a team that has a go either.
  25. Yes just not good enough. You hit the nail on the head.
