  • Moving the kick-off time of our national cup final because it clashes with an English game is embarrassing. And that's not even the main issue. If a team from Inverness is in the cup final,

  • Falkirk based team who had a big youth set up and added an adult team a few years back. Zander Diamond used to be manager.

Amazingly enough I actually have - my ex hubby's aunt & uncle lived there and his cousins 😊

Think the highlight of the visits was a trip to Kilmarnock town centre ha

The cup tie should be a cracking day out if you can get tickets

To anyone that knows Kilmarnock town centre that should serve as fair warning of exactly what awaits them in Darvel.

I've zero chance of tickets unless someone on here with zillions of loyalty points gets one and wants to sell it to me

Todays results.

Only Hamilton beating Ross County would maybe only one to count as a shock so far.

Off the Ball saying the draw is at 6pm (for some bizarre reason)

Aye just seen that. Just assumed it was on after game. Apparently on SFA social media channel.

TV games confirmed if anyone is remotely interested.

So who do we want to win it (on account Hearts will probably finish third and it wouldn't be good for us if they get guaranteed group stage European football again).

I guess Livingston or Queen's Park. In fact Livi might shock a few teams in Europe due to their plastic pitch so maybe the coefficient wouldn't lose out too badly.

Or Hearts implode, we somehow grab third, and it's an Old Firm final. Yuk, but for the greater good.

Queens Park might be on way out of the cup as fielded an ineligible player tonight.

I've said this 100 times before, but in the 21st century, with even the most rudimentary database technology, this should largely be impossible. Every team line (or even just squad) is typed into an online central system, and it doesn't allow you to submit if it includes an ineligible player. All players registered in the system, with dates signed etc and all cautions recorded post match. It's absolutely ridiculous that we've spent millions on some ridiculous system that measures offside to 1/1000mm, but we are still allowing games to be lost on an administrative error. Frustratingly, we hear this almost every year, yet nobody ever focuses on the solution to this, it's always about blaming the club (usually some part time administrator) as opposed to the system.
