  • I don't see how posting about Andy 'the ball buster' Murray who is currently lawn bowls champ of St Kitts and Nevis is a breach of rules?

I'll fucking string you up.

I'm at work so will be keeping a hawkeye on this thread when murray's challenge resumes later.

You cannot be serious!

I am, and don't call me Shirley.

(Yes, I realise this doesn't really fit)

Raining after 6pts played so far today

7-5, 4-2 Murray

Back on court. Farce. Court 1 needs a roof.

Just taken the second set.

Lot of debate about whether Murray should have been on centre court, either last night or this morning, but I guess they shouldn't be showing any favouritism towards him.  But in saying that, they're not called the All England Club for nothing.  ;)

The way I see it whoever is the biggest draw of spectators should be where the most spectators can see them. Basic business. If that's Del Potro v Ferrer then fine but I really doubt that this is the case.

Murray a break up in the 3rd. The sooner he wraps this up the better.

Didn't see any of today's play but sounds like he played very well!?

Aye. Aggressive play. No dicking about waiting for opponents to make mistakes. Ferrer will be one cunt of a test. Even on grass.

I'll let him off then.

Doon a break in the first already.

Stuck a tenner on Ferrer.

:hammer:

In my defence I put the tenner on before the match started.

Feck, this isn't going well  :(

one set all

Well done Murray, that was a tough game.

Definitely, powered through it in the end. Should make a great semi-final against Tsonga.

one of his best performances mentally i'd say! broke back to save the 1st two sets, then broke at 4-4 in the 3rd and served it out easily. held his nerve in the 4th too. really really good!

Beat a good player who is playing really well. Very good win.

I was also saying this. I thought Murray played like a potential champion. No one's got a better match win record this year than Ferrer. Ferrer's a fighter but Murray out-fought him. Murray fought for every single point and in both the first and second set he was down a break and looked out of it but kept fighting to force tie breaks. It's just a shame that he couldn't take the first one.

I actually expect the Tsonga match to be slightly more straight forward. Don't get me wrong Tsonga is a match for anyone on his day but I don't think he's as good as Ferrer. Murray will do that in 3.

If indeed he does beat Tsonga I think he'll give whoever (Djokovic) he gets in the final one hell of a match.
