Sat was a brilliant display, esp the first 45mins. Feel sorry for those who didn't attend.

Can't remember the last time i saw the team given a standing ovation at halftime... it wasn't just being applauded off the park, it was a proper standing ovation.

I thought Frank Ross was better than what he's been given credit for by some. Some of the touches and flicks displayed by him, Wright and GMS were superb, proper entertainment.

It looked like an old fashioned 4-4-2 with Wright being the deeper strike partner for May. I really can't complement the team highly enough for that first 45. We had actually created 4 decent chances in the first 6 mins, and by halftime i was saying it could have been 10 only for Shinniesta to go a miss an absolute sitter so it should have been 11 by HT.

I'm a massive fan of Devlin... what a find. Young Fergie should go to the top, Frank should be playing ahead of McGinn imo. In fact i'd go with the same again but maybe move Ball into midfield in place of Gleeson with Shay back in his position.

All in all still gushing about Sat. :beers:

P.S. Rico is right, young Ando's shot wasn't on target but it was still a fair hit and had the keeper worried.

Where can I find proper highlights for this match? Doesn't seem to be anywhere :/

I've been critical of Wright but he was excellent on Saturday. St. Mirren were terrified of him so it's only fair that I officially put the Scott Wright good game tally up to three.  Same on Saturday please loon. (although it'll most likely be from the bench)
