I'm surprised our side hasn't had more foreign influence these last four years with McInnes at the helm. Other than Arnie nobody has really impressed all that much eh?? He sticks to the leagues he knows, which is obviously limiting. The signing of the likes of Gillhaus now is unthinkable for a club our size, unfortunately. Saw Miko Virtanen play as a trialist against Hearts a few weeks back. Looked decent and think he will be a good addition to development squad. Drewsome Posted October 31, 2017 Share Posted October 31, 2017 Nothing wrong with short term deals. you get to test drive a player under "live ammunition" and are not really put out if it doesn't pan out. If it does, then the player has earned his contract. McInnes has shown a knack for taking local talent and turning out STUDS. The trick here is finding the next ones. whether they be Scottish, Irish, English, French, Dutch... CANADIAN... (Kyle Larin would look awesome up front. Already scores wearing red...)
