Jute Posted September 9 Report Posted September 9 Finished 2-0. Ryan One and David Watson probably best for Scotland. Quote
Jute Posted September 30 Report Posted September 30 How the fuck are we in a situation where those are our 3 best goalkeepers. Quote

Goalies take ages to develop, and then last forever. We'll no doubt have a rake of them in five years time. Scott Bain probably the best performing Scottish keeper just now. Archie Mair throwing them in for Morecambe these days. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago Dont know what to expect tomorrow. Do we pull of a home Spain/denmark performance, or do we match the last time Greece spanked us at home? Must win game, hope we are on it! 2-1 us, karlsson scoring both. Only a matter of time before he becomes Scottish and makes the squad! Quote
Jute Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Think we need to approach this in similar way to the game in Copenhagen as when we opened up against them in March we got thrashed. Goalkeeper is major concern as none of them are playing for their clubs. Gunn is now third choice at Forrest, Kelly is 2nd choice at Blue Bigots and Gordon is second choice at Hearts. Not a great position to be in. Hickey is fit so should start at right back with Robertson at left back. Would like to see 3 centre backs as Tierney McKenna and Souter but know Clarke will want Hanley in there. Midfield is interesting one with several of the players playing well. McGinn especially is playing well at Villa. Striking options are pretty limited as always but at least all are playing and have scored. Would expect Clarke to stick with Che as starting striker. Greeks will have been stung by defeat by Danes in last round of qualifiers and looking to get back on track. A draw might be result that suits both. Got ticket for tonight but not sure going to be heading over as still getting over op will be a last minute decision. 1-1 Adams Quote
RicoS321 Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Not sure I'd go a back three. Tierney can barely play 60 minutes at the moment, and needs to be quietly sidelined. A great player on his day, but I think it'd be down to luck if we happen to get that day. Wouldn't mind seeing both Dykes and Adams start, as it's a good combination. Keep McTominay high up the park and we'll be fine. Quote

wokinginashearerwonderland Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago I think we have to be a bit more positive in the approach in this match and go for the win if we want to qualify. The Greeks are decent so the away fixture will be very tough. Lob Dykes and Adams up front and push for the win. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Could go a number of ways, back three with width from hickey and Robertson, but then doak is benched. Back 4 and doak plays. Don’t know if we are good enough to go 4-4-2, Adams and dykes up top with doak mctom Ferguson and mcginn in midfield. I’d also consider 3-5-2 with doak and dykes up top. we’re never ideal I feel as we are always playing with center mids out of position. think Clarke isn’t brave enough, 4 at the back, Christie into midfield, and it’s Adams up top.
