Trying to decide if I'll download The Strokes new album from itunes today or wait till I get home and download a schneider. Anybody listened to it yet? What's your thoughts?

The Vaccines album is, in my opinion, superb, just something about it, lyrics arn't the greatest but they flow well.

 

S1dnk, Strokes album is decent, again just something about it that keeps me going back to listen.

Yeah ended up downloading it from iTunes minj, pretty good. I'd say I prefer the Vaccines album over the Strokes but only just.

 

Anybody got any gems they they can recommend, in the mood for getting into some new bands as I'm getting bored of some of the usual old stuff.

 

Anybody listened to much of the Brian Jonestown Massacre other than Straight Up and Down? Sound like an interesting band.

I've been checking out Cut Copy and Fenech-Soler.  I'd recommend both if you like stuff such as Delphic or Hot Chip.

Moon Safari was excellent. I've nae listened to it in years, but it's always worth a dust-off now and then. Sexy Boy was the first song I ever heard from Air and I loved the sound they were producing. Bought the album and instantly loved Kelly Watch The Stars
