Quite tough to get into, no standout tracks, but its the usual weird and wonderful stuff.  Perhaps slightly rockier than the last two albums.

Also listening to Bad Lieutenant (New Order minus Peter Hook).  Pretty decent.

Just Downloaded it.

You can definitely hear the Miles Davis influence that Wayne Coyne was talking about in some interview's that he did!

Amazingly sublime.

I see someone's covered 'You Got The Love'.

Why?

Why would you do that?

Why......why......why would anyone do that?  ???

It's not going to get any better than Candi Staton or Massive Attack so why bother?

The last week I've been listening to Aiden John Moffat, Dennis Wilson's Pacific Ocean Blue and some really old blues dudes like Johnny Winter and Robert Johnson.

I thought Candi Staton and Massive Attack were both covers.  ???

Aye but the point being CS & MA are near perfection, the song's a classic because of them and no speeding up, slowing down, bells or whistles are going to improve on it.  So why bother?

Today I'm listening to Neon Indian.

S'nae bad.

Flo and the Machine has covered it, it's ace, also Kasabian used to cover the start then break in to L.S.F

Okay, I'll bite, when did Massive Attack cover You Got The Love?

For some reason I am listening to a old trance album I bought about ten years ago.

Listened to Zane Lowe's masterpieces. Listened to the Metallica - Black Album first, one of my favourite albums of all time. So Reekie, if you can iPlayer stuff in NZ, its worth a listen again on the iplayer! Its on till next tuesday.
