An early Steve Lovell goal gave the young Dons a share of the spoils in a close SPL reserve encounter with a young Celtic side at the Excelsior Stadium.

Sandy Clark's side took the lead in the 16th minute when LOVELL was first to connect with an excellent Michael Paton cross from the right.

The Dons replaced former Charlton player Jonathon Kurrant, who had picked up a hamstring knock, with Greig Lamberty at the interval, and looked to have taken all three points until Dairmuid O'CARROLL equalised with a close range effort in the 87th minute.

Aberdeen - Soutar, Crawford, S. Smith, McVitie, Skinner, Considine, Jon Smith, Kurrant (Lamberty 46), Lovell, Paton, Aluko. Subs - Kelly, Strachan, Ross, Carroll.

And completely off subject, but you've set me thinking, i need to have a word with the missus, we've nae had any Club biscuits since i cannae mind when. Take it you still get them ???

You do indeed mate.

On a related matter, I suspect it is actually Lovell that is the club gayblade. A very recent development, he found out Sneckie "would".
