I am sure someone else will break rank, as I think this whole Mandleson story still has more to come in the coming days, I think that's why they holding off. Starmer is a sitting duck and someone is waiting for the right moment to finish him off. Only a matter of when. Quote

Yesterday was purely an act of attempted self preservation and a very poorly executed one. I suspect the reason that nobody else put their head above the parapet is that they also know that Labour are likely to lose in the upcoming coming by election and have a terrible result in May elections so they are as well leaving Starmer in place to take the blame and punt him afterwards.
