I think only folk who didn’t know about his drinking were Aberdeen board. 

At the time we appointed him I was a member of the same gym as Graeme 'Grassa' Bennett, former player and then Chief Exec at ICT.

He said they were 100% honest with AFC about Patterson.

Milne and Wyness thought they were exaggerating to put Aberdeen off him.

 

A couple of weeks before 'Dundee-gate' Grassa said to me 'Pele's hitting it hard just now. I'm getting pissed up phone calls at all hours'.

I seem to remember McInnes being told he wouldn't be allowed to bring Tony Doc with him due to his "background". It'll be interesting to see if he's allowed to bring Paul Sheerin and Gordon Marshall with him or if he'll be forced to utilise some Alex Rae-type mutant to satisfy the orcs in the stands.

Sheerin has gone with him. Alan Archibald and Craig Clark (who?) also part of the coaching team apparently.

So McInnes is finally concomitant with the Sevco job.
