Olympic torch coming to Aberdeen

THE Olympic torch is coming to Aberdeen next year.

 

The famous flame will be carried through Aberdeen on Monday, June 11, 2012, before heading for the London opening ceremony.

 

The organisers of the 2012 games were accepting nominations from the public for potential torch carriers from 11am today.

 

 

Me neither x4, I don't know anyone that has been successful yet.

although I applied for them for my now ex birds birthday so I'd be quite happy to find out I've not got tickets for the show jumping!
