Fast track to relegation

I think it's now obvious that this is no longer a 'team'....it's merely a collection of individuals in red shirts who are floundering and all paddling in different directions.

The collective soul of the club was lost the second the Raith Rovers guy scored against us at Pittodrie and we now no longer have any idea at all how to perform even the basics of the game.

The management have obviously lost the dressing room (long been lost I believe) and McGhee is no longer capable of instilling the belief and tactical know-how that we need.

If he had any decency at all, he would resign immediately. Unfortunately he doesn't, and he won't.

Even then, it would probably be too late.

I fear that all we can do now is pray that the 3 clubs below us can't pick up enough points over the next 5 games, because we've lost the capability to determine games for ourselves.

I thought the spectre of relegation, and the utterly devastating effect it would have on the club, was gone....but no, a series of remarkably foolish and short-sighted decisions by the board has brought it back knocking on the door.

All we can do now is sit back up hope that Falkirk, Killie or St Mirren don't get enough points.

Well your saying its a myth but what evidence is there to support it being a myth? I am sure I read an interview where the above was what was quoted, either way its the truth or a blatant lie.

I too remember reading the interview, and as I said £3k after Ifil, is possible. £3k p/w on wages to cover a L1 centre back, a Championship reserve keeper, and an Italian moving to this country, to me sounds like a lie.

Lets assume Grassi is on  circa. £500 p/w. Does that seem fair?

Nelson, Ex League One Keeper to Championship reserve keeper got to be on at least £1k p/w. Does that seem fair?

Leaving £1.5k to entice an established L1 centre back 700 miles north with his young family, hardly likely given he could command the same or more from most L1 and L2 sides within 100 miles of Swindon.

If it is repeated as the truth to justify Mr Magoo's poor transfer dealings it surely becomes a myth.

Ifil was quoted as being one of the highest paid players when he signed  :-\

"one" is only one way of describing it ::)

No way grassi is on as little as 500 a week

Why not? He wouldn't have been on much more than that at the Spanish amateur club he was at before.

Indeed Slim. If he earns any more than that then someone needs their arse kicked.
