It's the news all Dons fans have been waiting for. Our brand new Nike kit for the 2008/09 season will exclusively be revealed next week on RedWeb - The first and only place for official AFC news.

With the announcement of a new club sponsor due to be revealed in the coming days, the kit remains top secret however we do have a couple of teasers to give you, the fans, a taster of what the new strip will look like

Our Club partners have once again excelled themselves in combining style with tradition to produce a kit which every Dons fan will want to wear with pride and RedWeb will be the first place to see the kit revealed in it's full glory.

If you want to be one of the first to sport the new kit, pre-orders will commence from Thursday 12th June 2008. Order can be placed directly at www.afc.co.uk or through our Club Shop here at Pittodrie or at our Bridge Street branch.

The kit will officially hit the shops on Tuesday 1st July 2008.

just when im exercising in general - so each top would probably get worn and washed twice a week! The best one for durabilty would probably be the gothenberg remake one - gets worn twice a week and theres not a thread out of place yet! How olds that top now about 5 years maybe?

I think your legendary moobs have maybe taken their toll on your apparel.

;)

im down to a 'b' cup now - leave me alone  ;D

Must admit that's probably the best away strip we've had since the white Abtrust one fae about 15 years ago. I like it! It's clean, sharp and not cluttered with any shite fancy bits anywhere.

I might even be persuaded to buy my first Dons top since the black&gold Atlantic Telecom one

That looks pretty damn good. It is red, has a sponsor and an AFC badge.

Please feel free to mention what it is you feel is missing. ::)

Is he the African Fatjim?

it looks cheap thats all - theres something not right about the badge and starts and it looks like that really really annoying shiny material that upsets me sensitive skin

You'll be thinking of Knights' Armour

Will you buy it?

nope looks shite dont see the point will get one of the training tops instead

Wasn't going to be buying a kit this year, actually would have been 2.. one for me and one for the loon.. but this bland, unimaginative abortion pretty much seals the deal.

I'll keep my 200 bucks and use it to buy him a Redwings jersey.

The defeat to QotS.. sorry, the surrender to QotS determined how much money AFC would get from me this season.. and that's fuck all.

If they show some ambition next season I might buy a kit the season after... but based on their signings so far they'll be getting no cash out of me then either.

Whole club can bleed to death as far as I'm concerned.  Perfectly happy to see it happen.

I will be buying the home top (well, getting it free with this years Red Rewards points ) but I do agree that the stars would look better filled in on the home top and the away top should have all the detail in either red or black.

I like the look of the long sleeved version better for some reason although I've never had one  :-\

Don't know if it was mentioned already but you can get the SPL logo on the shirt for an extra £6. Who's going to be daft enough to do that?

Spotte that, did find it mildly amusing!!

£6 thats a fucking joke!

i've seen the new kit in the club shop at pittodrie and it's the badge that worries me, its like its made of some shitty felt material and looks like it will peel off in no time.

AW FOR FUCKS SAKE JIMMY!

Only a few days till we can all give an informed decision

It worries you?

Really?

I can tell you now that it won't peel off.  Even if your worst nightmare does happen and it does peel off, guess what, they'll replace it.  :P

Aye noticed that yesterday. Think it will be far less harsh on the nipple though. Some tops are a nightmare for that!

Be thankful you're not Scaramanga from The Hat.

I was worried about that. Embroidered badges are the way forward. Sticky plasticky felty pish I would rather not have, most plasticky iron on shite on the strips have came off eventually.

aye for all the nipple chaffing that they cause, embroidered badges are the way forward.
