Get the feeling it was decided rangers need 3 points and every effort was made to give it to them. Ref will be disappointed he could not have given a red......we were garbage though. I hope team will gel and get better.

After the obligatory 6 goal pumping midweek I will be interested to see how our chairman will put a positive spin on our free-falling club. Failure built on foundations of sand.

Poor game. No threat. Still need that bit of quality to play around and it's not ronan. Sine is the decision making / indecision was criminal in the final third.

We play the tims next so the BitB just made sure by only booking our players, it meant they had to stand off them more but we won't have a weakened squad for the next game. By giving them every decision it was sufficient.

Robinson got one thing right, we looked like a team with no pulse.

On this evidence we are not going to be scoring much this season, the decision making going forward throughout the match was shocking. Least optimistic going into a season I've been for a while, yes we might be more "stable" but traffic cones are stable.

I thought Olusanya off the ball was pretty impressive. On it, not so much. Aremu did well. I feel like Guinness Walker is growing in confidence.

Smith made a difference when he came on in terms of taking his man on. But in the attacking third we looked disconnected and short of ideas. Feels like the front players don’t have a shared understanding.

As I feared, we lack that quality to hurt teams when on top. We've had just two shots on target - Ntelo and Ronan in the first half, both long range shots. Other than that it's throw it in the box and hope something falls, and we almost got it with the Nisbet disallowed goal.

Ntelo, Olusanya, and also Mouloua when he came on - they're all good at pressing and challenging and harassing defenders. But in terms of quality it's going to be fleeting. Olusanya again lasting 90 minutes is poor when he was offering nothing.

That said, game had draw all over it, and it's a daft penalty that gives them the points. So that's frustrating.

Aremu good. Smith and Armstrong both showed something when they came on, although they also showed their lack of game time.

Like I said at half-time, it's about as well as I expected us to play. Won challenges, difficult to beat, but we've signed St Mirren level players and offer the same threat St Mirren do. We'll beat some shite teams, give the better ones a physical game, finish mid-table.

A lot of our fears about that lot just reinforced today.

Firstly have to say Aremu was excellent. Muller had a good game and the full backs were decent - Obi 2 especially.

I would have included the CH’s in that, but that holocaust of a goal between them put paid to that. Jesus wept lads WTF.

There is absolutely no quality in that team, none. Olusanya ran about a lot to little effect, and Ronan and Yogane especially but also Nisbet and Ntelo were passengers. Can’t have that in this game.

Clearly we must have missed Brad Lyons.

If Smith doesn’t get a start ahead of Yogane after that then Robinson needs fired off the roof of the RDS.

They had a punishing extra time game 3 days ago and they’ve not had a clean sheet all season - up steps Aberdeen.

10 odd new players and that looked no different to a lot of the shite we’ve been watching for years now. Everything is just so laboured and we still can’t make the right decisions or even make a simple pass half the time.

I know I keep saying it, but how the fuck can Motherwell put a team on the park like they have and we get that - again. I guess cause they’ve decided not to identify themselves as St Mirren (North). Depressing.

Two weeks to prepare and come up with a game plan and that’s what we get? You have to be concerned at that.

We can write off Wednesday, just forget that one, so its 3 points from 4 games, and we were lucky to get those 3.

Looking like yet another season of utterly turgid shite then as we feared.

Maybe start taking bets on when the new manager thread gets fired up based on that. Great stuff…

Absolutely this.

In the past we have signed plenty of players that turned out to be average, and have ended seasons with plenty of mid-table finishes, but this is the first time I can recollect us deliberately setting out to achieve mediocrity from the start of the season.

And the irony will be St Mirren will probably finish above us.

You have to wonder the sanity of following a bent game.

Two shit teams, buy one was clearly getting advantages the whole game.

If the ref is stinking the place out, the last thing we needed was Olusanya on the pitch for 90 minutes.

Firestick Reds will tell me he does a power of work, but he never is and never will be a football player.

We are organised and have triers and can't really fault the effort, but very little quality.

Just back. We did okay, were unlucky to lose. Battled well in midfield and generally pressed them well. Can't really fault Robinson for the lineup and substitutions. As we've all noticed, we just lack quality. Aremu worked his arse off, but he doesn't spot, or execute if he does, a pass. Olusanya will do really well to win possession but then fire it into the feet of his teammate (Ntelo today) instead of placing it easily in front of him. Ronan has quality, but probably wary to stray too far forward where he can be effective because he was playing deep. Yogane was terrible and the only player out there who didn't put in the work. At one point he lost the ball, and simply jogged away. Mouloua lost it late in the game and tracked his man all the way back to our byline in order to put in a sliding tackle, and Nisbet and Olusanya regularly contributed back the way. Ntelo looks like a guy that should be playing through the middle, and I think he might be the one to add quality, maybe, hopefully. The back four did generally well, but for that ridiculous error from Mayo.

The ref was refereeing two separate games to two different standards. Nisbet's pen and foul being simultaneously not enough contact and too much contact from VAR was interesting.

Anyway, I'm not expecting much from this squad, so not overly disappointed.

Our two best players were Aremu and Obi Wan for me. Not sure about any of the rest of them today, although Armstrong and Smith were lively when they came on. We looked like we were over run in midfield in the first half (Aremu aside) mainly because the starting line up was poor - we don’t need 4 luxury players up front!

As has been said above it’s practically a whole new team. More worryingly the heart and soul has been ripped out of the team - no way is Cadden an improvement on Devlin, no way whatsoever. Fucking hope Kneoster is a starter soon. Olusanya needs benched, I thought he was terrible today. We seem to have very little on the bench apart from Knoester and Smith. The likes of Frame and Devlin need to be getting a look in.

Some very touch fixtures coming up which could make or break Robinson’s tenure.

What do you expect from a load of crap players and a numpty manager who has turned us into a more expensive version of St Mirren. We might as well write the whole season off now. Hopefully our next manager will do better, but it is unlikely.

I don't think Knoester is a significant improvement in this league. He's a much better footballer, but he can't defend set pieces.

We had 4 up front because we only have one holding or box to box midfielder in the squad with Lyons out. Had we had Lyons available, I'd have expected Yogane to drop out and Ronan pushed further forward. In the end, we didn't really give a whole lot away despite that as they were fairly average.
