Livingston v Aberdeen

Friday night football fun for the Dons this week as they head down to Lothian to take on Livingston. The action begins at 7:45 pm.

I think that Livi's tails will be in the air after their win on Saturday and they still have a chance of staying up. So I fancy a 2-2 draw.

His biggest issue is the physical side. If he can get more power, strength and running he has the ability to be an asset. Hedges was gash in his first season for the Dons, but spent the summer working

Very poor comparison but miller and McLeish complimented each other, we didn’t really want two millers or two mcleish’s, we had great balance. Where I think knoester beats Milne is I think Milne is so

I love Shinnie, I would give him a contract for life. But yeah, I think for him it makes sense to go to Inverness and see out his career at somewhere that - I presume - he's considered a legend for hi

Not much experimenting going on there, still looks like a 5-3-2 / 3-4-1-2. Think we can safely say Shinnie won't be here next season as that's now four out of six games he's been on the bench under Robinson.

No Lobban or Gyamfi in squad.

Aye, I wonder if Shinnie will end up back at Inverness?

I like Geiger instead of Cameron, but I'm still not sure about that midfield three mix. I think Armstrong is better playing advanced on his own, but Aremu is better playing in front of the back four, so we've got that problem we had with Clarkson and Armstrong and Geiger or Shinnie forming a lopsided partnership with one player who doesn't put in the same work. Not sure what I'd prefer. Probably Shinnie and Geiger hunting it down high up the pitch, with Armstrong in behind moving the ball quickly, or the reverse.

If anyone was in the Weathersppons and now doesn’t have their ticket let me know as my mates picked it up.

Olusanya .... :D :D ....

He could still do a job for us, even if it's off the bench, as he can play off the left or the middle. But you can't have your captain as a bit-part player, and essentially emasculating him by making him give up the captaincy but remain on the books isn't how his Dons career should end.

shocker!

Any talk of Olusanya on a permanent deal I think should be quietly put to bed after that.

Shinnie's days on the pitch for us are over.

Such is his stock that I doubt many of us would have an issue with him picking up a coaching role with us assuming such a role existed of course

YYYAAAASSSSS!!!! ..... Frame :D

He's not a TIM any more

Fantastic for Frame

Well done !

Argument to he made that Frame was the best of our summer arrivals*

His debut was January 😶

*arrival being the operative word considering Nisbet was here last season.

Nice one Frame!

Geiger should score there.

Aye should def be more than one up - hopefully a quick second after the restart.

You can see why Livingston are Championship-bound, they're so easy to play through. But our movement has been good. Geiger and Armstrong in particular having good games.

Not seen the first half, or the goal, but Frame reminds me a little of Mulgrew. Got a really good left foot, and I reckon he'll have a big future in the game. He's not going to be tanking up and down the line for ninety minutes every week though, and wouldn't be surprised if he moves more central in a few years. A really good signing.

Ach FFS!! :(

fox ache nae like that...

Fuck sake, shouldn't have turned it on.

I like the look of the lad Smith for Livingston, been any good so far?

Looked pretty decent

Might be worth a wee approach

Would probably pick him up for a fraction of the price of an unknown Johnny Foreigner
