A huge game for our fading hopes of the league title; lose this one and we can't mathematically win the league.

It happens at the Pink Bus Shelter in Edinburgh on Saturday 28th at 3 pm.

I'm not sure how this will go. Probably 2-0 to the hosts.

There are no changes, it's the same image but with Nilsen in place of McIntyre. Like I said  - it's the average positions for the full 90.

I don't know how accurate it is though (source was Opta) and I don't have a breakdown for first/second half.

A heat map (I should have posted that) shows Nilsen was going forward a lot more than Molloy, and Milne covering the space, so that perhaps gives the impression of a three. 

Anyone know any pubs in Funchal Madeira that would show the game tomorrow? any exiled Dandy pub owners here?

I dunno if I'd start him. I think Olusanya and Nisbet do manage to cause a wee bit of havoc together if played as a front two, which I think we've been trying to do (looking more closely at the average positions v Dundee United). It's like we're 4-3-3 out of possession but a 3-1-4-2 in possession.

 

I'd keep Armstrong on the bench, but a good option to come on.

I don't think we'll create much, but we need to take any chances that do come our way.

We need big performances from our defence and midfielders today. 

It would be brilliant to derail their season this afternoon.

Suppose have to think about this one now. With the injury to McIntyre we are going to have to make a change at the back. Thought Nilsen played okay on Tuesday but think it it’s more likely that we will see Frame coming in at left back and Molloy moving to central defence. I would play Armstrong ahead of Olusanya but suspect I am in the minority. Thought we created very little on Tuesday and can see that continuing today. Hearts have a fair number of injuries so not at their best but expect them to have to much for us.

A back line of Devlin, Milne, Molloy and Frame, really gives me the fear.

Think we need an experienced head at the back and Nilsen it has to be for me. Maybe go three at the back, with Frame LWB

Not exactly ideal though.

 

Armstrong has been very passive in games I’ve seen him in. Looks like he needs others to battle around him and he’s not had that. In a three with Geiger or Shinnie where Cameron is doing the running he might get more opportunity to create. 
 

We need to exploit their right side as they are vulnerable there but if we don’t play Topi I can’t see how we do that.

Armstrong is only suitable against teams like Livingston if he's playing number 8. He basically needs to be where Cameron is or not playing. There's probably a way to fit him into one of the wide roles if we're playing a back four. Probably best off the bench at the moment though.

Dinna worry it's Devlin, Milne, Morrison and Molloy instead. Much more secure 🙂

Radio saying last time Hearts was in this position, Aberdeen went to Tynecastle and won 4-0. Let’s hope history repeats itself today.

That defence is very suspect. Hopefully Milne is playing on his wrong side, as Morrison is horrendous on his wrong foot. Similar to Dorrington, where we signed a guy who can apparently play left and right, but clearly hasn't done so in any environment where they might be under pressure. Body shape all over the shop, and just a general mess. Molloy is a better centre half than Morrison in general, he's definitely a mile better on his left side. I'd have had him alongside Milne with either Frame or Jensen at left back (even Jensen on his wrong foot is a large upgrade). 

Anyway, I'm not expecting much, so hopefully they'll pull something out of nowhere.

Is Frame carrying an injury...was surprised when he didn't start at Tannadice and, as you suggest putting Molloy at CB and bringing in frame would be the sensible way to go.

Could be. Could just be a case of not wanting to overplay him too. He can be a bit suspect back the way too, so maybe a mixture of a few things in a difficult game.

That's quite a miss fae them. No replays on my stream, but assume it was Morrison wrong side?

Our midfield are getting totally overrun. It appears to be Shinnie on his own.

No great shock there other than they hadn't scored already.

We really miss Knoester at the back. As said above our midfield is also powderpuff as they breeze through every time they go forward.
