Pele

Whilst not necessarily unexpected, a sore one nonetheless.

His last words were "that's some hit min" as he watched Matty Kennedy's free kick fly into the net last night.

Former Pope Benedict XV1.

Would make it interesting if Celtic plan to have a minute's silence/applause at their next home match 🤔

Frank McGarvey (66).

Another one at nae fucking age.

Sure we were linked with signing him at one point, but I might have that wrong owing to the passage of old father time 🤔

MBT help me out here min

He was always seen looking at houses in Westhill.
Sad.

My all time favourite Sooth Stand insult was aimed towards him…”McGarvey! Yer hair’s Permed!” Emphasis on the last word. A tremendous forward who I will miss.

Yep. House in Westhill was the first thing I thought of when I heard the news.

Alan Rankine aged 64 🙄

Him and Billy Mackenzie reforming The Associates in heaven.

Yet another one taken far too young 😪

Ken Block. American rally driver. Only 55. All I really know about him was he liked to drive fast things. Best thing I did see of his was where he drove around central London.

Gianluca Vialli aged 58 😬

Very sad to hear. Always came across as a genuinely lovely man. On a football level his CV is phenomenal.

Lisa-Marie gone, 54 ffs, sad times when it seems more folk younger than me are popping off than older than me 🤔

David Crosby (81) of The Byrds & Crosby  Stills, Nash & Young fame.

Guess I'll be listening to dome of his excellent music whilst working this morning.

Eight Miles High, live version, all eighteen and half minutes.

Billy near-post Thompson as I recall

Christ that’s young. I remember watching him at Pittodrie. Did he no play for St Mirren as well?

Capped?

RIP another of the guys I used to watch 😢

No a bad keeper in his day but another footballer who blotted his copy book by signing on at The Huns to boost his pension pot.

Sad news all the same.

Sure he won a handful of caps MBT

The Sun reporting upon his death as former Rangers & Scotland keeper Billy Thompson has passed away.

Absolutely fucking incredible click bait from them considering he played seven times in the league got the original Huns and got seven Scotland caps but played more than 500 games for St Mirren and The Arabs.
