His eyes pure lit up when he saw him then he launched himself at him to hug. I thought that was quite interesting given Mcgrath didn't even get a place in the squad and is also leaving. It shows impressive man management if you ask me. Tbf it was probably the emotion of it being his last chance to win a cup in Scotland. 1 Quote

It was going to be Knoester. Think it was polvara I heard say that in a red TV interview he did during the parade yesterday. Edit I see that question has been answered already. That Polvara interview was decent though, worth a watch. Edited May 26 by tlg1903 Quote

wee toon red Posted May 26 Report Posted May 26 Haven’t posted about Saturday until now as I don’t think I could get my head around it. An incredible day with an incredible performance by the entire team. And a tactical masterclass from Jimmy. It was clear from the start that the plan was to sit in and deny them space in the final third and other than one lucky break it worked a treat. The subs were spot on and totally changed the flow of the game, to the extent where we created the better chances in extra time. The composure of the boys on the penalties was first class and what can you say about Mitov? Absolutely brilliant gesture from him at the end of the lap of honour, giving his gloves to a young lad who had a flag with Mitov’s name on it on show all afternoon. A hero amongst heroes. I was just about to turn 10 in 1990 and Saturday was my 10yo’s first cup final, which really did make the day even more special. I’ve warned her she might be approaching middle age by the next time we win one but let’s hope not! 5 Quote

He's amassing a fair collection of player shirts now too 1 Quote

Ernie Posted May 27 Report Posted May 27 I read on here regularly but it's years since I posted. Anyway, one of the best Dons' days I've had, greetin' at the actual game along with a few other oldies and still buzzing. What a support and great to see that mainly comprising teens and kids. I hope they get to see a few more days like that, I'm so grateful that I have. 8 Quote

OrlandoDon Posted Wednesday at 01:50 Report Posted Wednesday at 01:50 Vey proud seeing again and again the celebrations of the fans, and the relationship our fans seem to have with the team/players/club. Also nice seeing pics of Adam Rooney and dean campbell in the crowd, hearing how happy Derek young was in the commentary. Really think we do have a bit of a unique club, something special. 2 Quote

tlg1903 Posted Wednesday at 10:11 Report Posted Wednesday at 10:11 Apologies if I missed this but let's have a bit of love for Palaversa's hand to the ear when he scored his pen. He clearly can't stand the cunts . Not only that I was well impressed with Ante on Saturday in general. Easily his best performance in red and looked for the first time a player that someone had spent 7 mill on prior. 3 Quote

Fair fucks to the club for sticking with the current strip by the way. The squares on the shirt were already iconic, and now even more so. (I have the day off tomorrow and am currently celebrating the six-day anniversary with a few whiskies. There's a chance of more nonsense posts like this before I get put to bed.) 2 Quote
