  1. We are meant to be after Campbell from Motherwell. He's a good player, but do we need another midfielder? https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/2526631/motherwell-midfielder-campbell-on-aberdeens-radar/
  2. What the fuck went wrong with Jordan Rhodes? A few year back he was scoring for fun. I thought he would have been in the Scotland squad for years the way he was going. Over 150 goals in in less than 300 games for Huddersfield and Blackburn. Moved to Middlesbrough, Shef Wed and Norwich. He's played 120 games with the three and only scored 30 goals. But with the shortage of strikers you would think he would still be a option. No?
  3. Tomas Cerny - Bye, Tomas. Shay Logan - A year extension Andrew Considine - A Ten year extension. Michael Devlin - He seemed like the defender we had that would be our 'Mckenna' before we had our Mckenna. He's also got 3 caps while with us. But... He's only played 49 games for us since he signed for us back in Jan 2018 and his demeanor in the games I've been able to see on TV has been a bit 'meh'. So I'm not sure if we punt him or give him another year to see if he can pull his arse in. Ash Taylor - As said before, played well last season but he's been dog shit this season. I think it's time for him to go. Connor McLennan - I'm sure there is a player in McLennan, but not sure if we will find it. I can see him going to another team and playing really well. For him to get that he needs to go. That's a shame. Ethan Ross - Not seen enough of him to say. Scott Wright - Playing well at the moment. But, he has needed Hedges to come on to a game for him to play well. If Hedges form drop it will be interesting to see how he goes. Would still give him a Two year contract as we know he has it in him. Miko Virtanen - Not seen enough of him to say. Curtis Main - Release Niall McGinn - I would give him a year as he can still change a game. Bruce Anderson- Same as Connor Mclennan.
  4. I just saw that Bologna beat Parma 4-1 with Hickey playing most of the game. He got 80 mins playing time.
  5. 12th in Serie A out of 20 teams seems okay to me. It's a good match for both Bologna and Hickey. The lad has way more chance to get a game with a mid table team like Bologna than going to a top team like Bayern Munich.
  6. I don't play it. But when you go on to the link in the first post and go to their site It has a contact us link. It may be worth while trying that.
  7. When he first started to get a game there was no way that I would have seen him get so many games for us. He could be a bit of a bomb scare at times. But what a player he has turn out to be for us. He reminds me a bit of Ally Shewan. Dependable, puts in 100% and is a true dandy. His hat trick against Dundee was a thing of beauty.
  8. 1-0 win for us. Logan to score a thunderbolt from the halfway line.
  9. Trust Scotland to have another good left back. Hopefully, he will end up being a centre back or right back...
  10. ?
  11. Is Hickey any good?
  12. I see that Scott Mckenna played his first game for Forest. Ended up a 1-0 loss to Huddersfield.
  13. Freaking the wife out. ?
  14. Gary Dempsey coming to us was a weird one. Played for us for a few months as a amateur as he wanted away from Dunfermline. https://web.archive.org/web/20070613105332/http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/tm_objectid%3D15334915%26method%3Dfull%26siteid%3D89488%26headline%3Dfootball--i-d-rather-have-been-on-buroo-than-stay-at-paris-name_page.html
  15. Looking at transfermarket.com, Aberdeen's total market value Is 10 million. Sporting is valued at 150 million. We could/should have done better, but that's a huge gulf between clubs.
  16. Six European Qualifier games, which he played the full 90 mins in. Five Nation League games, which one (Israel away 10/11/18) he came on at half time. And he played five friendles and played the full 90 mins in them all.
  17. Ever since I was a wee laddie I've felt the same when we lose one of our best players. That kind of melancholy feeling. I think when Eric Black left was the biggest kick in the baws. Anywho, all the best, Scott.
  18. That's £15000 per game he played. ?
  19. Could see that coming.
  20. Sounds like he's been through a really hard time health wise. Get well soon, Jim! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54154994
  21. I'm not a fan of Simon Ferry, but the podcast he did with Graeme Shinnie is well worth a listen just to hear the story of Kenny McLean shitting in a box of chocolates. ?
  22. A good write up for a change. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54137328
  23. He was on Sportsound a few days ago, What he was saying I agreed to a point. If he had signed the extension and had suffered a injury that kept him out for months would Bournemouth resign him? Probally not. But he came out and said "With me playing, without being big headed, I think I would have helped massively." Not a good look... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/sep/09/ryan-fraser-bournemouth-newcastle-united-steve-bruce
