  1. Alex Keddie passed away at the age of 93 on the 27th of this month. He was the last surviving AFC player who played and won in the 1946 League Cup final against Rangers. He never played many games for the Dons, but he was an important part of our history. R.I.P https://www.afc.co.uk/2021/03/27/in-memoriam-alex-kiddie/
  2. Bruce Anderson. 2 goals in the last 8 games...

George Segal. Dead at 87 https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-56507209
  4. In regards of Shay Logan, he's only played 14 games this season and only one of those games did he play the full 90 mins. He is 34 next Jan and he's got his plumbing business up and going, so I think he will be off.
  5. Tommie Hoban, Connor McLennan, Niall McGinn, Ash Taylor, Michael Devlin, Greg Leigh, Shay Logan, Miko Virtanen and Ethan Ross all out of contract on May 31th. And of course Fraser Hornby, Florian Kamberi, Callum Hendry and Gary Woods loans finish. https://www.transfermarkt.com/aberdeen-fc/vertragsende/verein/370
  6. I really can't see in my head Scott Brown with a Aberdeen FC top on. ? As Al said, the thought of this a month ago would have been insane.
  7. How many of these guys will be playing for us next season? https://www.atlutd.com/players/squad/atlutd2 Why do I feel like we are becoming Atlanta United 3? I'm behind Stephen Glass as our new manager, but there is something really not right here. It feels like we are getting "used".

217 goals in 691 games is good going for a attacking midfielder.
  9. I'm half way through "One Two Three Four: The Beatles in Time" by Craig Brown, the sometimes writer for "Private Eye". I have to say it's by far the best book I've read about The Beatles. Even if you're not a fan of The Beatles It's worth a read as it goes in to the culture of the class systems at the time and how The Beatles ( and Stones ) brought a change about. https://www.theguardian.com/books/2020/apr/13/one-two-three-four-the-beatles-in-time-by-craig-brown-review
  10. 7 goals were from pens
  11. Takes me back to the summer of 1992. A cracking time for me.

    Celeb Deaths

For some reason I thought he had already died years ago.
  14. I moved to Oz when I was 22 so I never got that many done. I think I did about 17. Getting up the mountains is something I really miss. It always felt like I had a clearer head after being on the hills.
  15. Have you done any of the Munros on Skye, ED? I think if any of the munros were going to beat me it would be Sgurr Dearg. Shits me off when I see Danny Macaskill doing it on a bike... Having only 60 or so Munros to do is amazing. I'm very jealous. I'm no sure what age you are, but fingers crossed that you get the rest of them done!
  16. I hear that they are charging £7.10 for a half blue bar of chocolate. ?
  17. I watched a few clips on YouTube of climbers walking An Teallach and thought that Aonach Eagach looked more technical. But that was me sitting on a computer in the air con thinking that. A bit different being up there.
  18. Top notch post Stooge. One of the best posts on here in a while. Great to see you back min.
  19. Ex Hun, so that would be a no from Tup. ?
  20. Has anyone climbed An Teallach? It was not a mountain that was on my radar before I moved over here. But I've reading up on it and I'm pissed off that I never climbed it. It doesn't look to technical, but has enough going for it to get the blood going.
  21. I see talk of Stephen Glass going either for the manager job or Dof....
