Danny Armstrong from killie worth considering? Given we have close to no width worth a look? Better than vinnie? Baccus not playing much for st mirren since his return from the Asian cup, tough to say he’s good enough for us if he’s not a st mirren regular despite being a regular for Australia…and speaking of Australians, would mind seeing Jackson Irvine back in Scotland with us. Just turned 31, maybe get a couple of decent years from him??

would really like to see us target good Scottish talent, anyone out there worth considering?

Armstrong definitely worth a look but with Killie likely being in Europe next season would he want to step down to playing in league cup group stages next season.

  2. Meant to say changed days at Barcelona. Playing with 17 year old centre back Pau Cubrasi who has been excellent and just brought on a 16 year old winger Lamine Yamal.

Next 3 games, county at home, bottom club livi away, Dundee at home.
county have us away, at killie, then home to rangers.

if we show up that’s 9 points, and potentially zero for county. We’d be 12 points ahead with 5 games to play, one of which against county. We’ve play twice at dingwall already so good change that’s a home game.

could be pretty much safe by the split.

Only played County away once in the league so far. Other visit up there early in the season was league cup game.

Welcome to our world, Wolves...2-1 up on 97 mins, lost 3-2 to Coventry.

I left house it was 1-0 Coventry with 10 minutes to go.

  5. Only sliver of confidence I have about tomorrow is that as bad as we have been this season we have still taken 7 goals off Motherwell this season so they are not that great either. As Orlando says above looking at squad I can’t see how we get a stronger team on the field than on Wednesday. I am not convinced by Phillips at all. Plenty of effort but can’t see anything beyond that. Problem is who do we bring in to replace him. I would keep Barron in instead of Clarkson as although he didn’t have a good game on Wednesday (nobody did) he has been playing better of late.

Pinches of salt at the ready…

”Apparently Stewart Milne told a guy I do work for at a corporate golf day yesterday McInnes is coming back as manager but wants to wait till the international break to do it. Interviews this week are a smoke screen just sorting a compensation package”

While I don’t think it will be McInnes himself I can see it being a McInnes style manger that comes in.

  7. Another dreadful performance. Not a single shot on target against fucking Dundee. Admittedly if it wasn’t for a terrible VAR assisted decision to award a penalty for the ball hitting McKenzie on the shoulder it would have finished 0-0 but this team look completely broken and devoid off confidence. We never looked like scoring with us creating next to no chances for Miovski.

Now only 3 points off play off place.

Shinnie being suspended makes this one extremely difficult. Phillips was good against the Tims and Killie, but he's not good enough at football to be sitting in front of the defence. Polvara doesn't have the coverage but is basically our only option. Unless we go wild and include one of the defence in midfield. Or really wild and play Rubezic there on his first game back from injury, with an instruction to "take no prisoners".

Is that not his only setting.

  9. As long as we stick to 4 at the back then we should have a chance. Suspect Leven will stick with same team as Saturday if everyone is fit. As Manc says Dundee have decent home form so not expecting this to be anything other than a difficult game.

Oot - just too busy with work

a controversial penalty and two red cards for the opposing team - just another normal day at the office for Sevco.

The decisions were terrible. Looked like there was minimal if any contact for the penalty and never a second yellow for first red card. Second one looked a straight red on first viewing but when watched back could see it was it was never a red card. Could accept the ref giving a red if he only saw it once but fact the VAR team had chance to review this and didn’t ask ref to review was farcical.

  11. Delighted Warnock is gone. Think he has been a disaster and have a suspicion that todays improved performance was on the back of players knowing he was gone.

Loads of rumours circulating on line suggest Panda and Rico have been busy. Hope whoever it is comes in by international break.
