So assuming we finish the season strong and end up <10 points behind Celtic and >20 ahead of 3rd place. Quite an impressive season i'd say. Has it been better than last season though? For me, we have undoubtedly improved and now have a much better level of consistency to our performances compared to last season. To still be in with a chance of winning the league at this stage is a fantastic achievement. However - no trophy. Does that make this season more disappointing than last? For me, yes.

Great post I hope there is a similar decision that crops up this weekend and the relevant team affected takes the same course of action to see what happens.

Make him a Dandy I was in a pretty similar situation. Grew up in Dunfermline but my dad brought me up an Aberdeen fan. I still have a soft spot for the Pars, and went to quite a lot of their games when I was younger and lived there, but it was always Aberdeen I supported. I loved supporting a minority team growing up. I think I was one of 2 Dons fans in school which gave me a great siege mentality I reckon the wee man will grow to like Raith regardless if its Aberdeen you ‘make’ him support. A win win for everyone.

Did you see the numpties we played at the start of the qualifiers last season? I can't imagine there are many good teams in at that stage.

I'd say it's debatable whether having less European qualifiers is a bad thing. Surely the more games played in Europe the better? Do we know what the difference is in prize money between 2nd and 3rd? I'd imagine having a full house at Pittodrie for an extra Euro qualifier would bring in a fair bit of money which may offset any prize money losses.
