I seem to recall Jimmy saying finishing 6th or finishing 4th doesn't have any financial benefit to the club(unless of course it meant Uefa Cup) as the additional prize money is mostly put into player bonuses.

I'd be far happier is Hart stayed till the end of the season, unless Jimmy has a good replacement waiting to come in as we don't have any sufficient cover atm. People seem to think now he's leaving he'll be sticking in own goals left right and centre. Plenty of players have played for us in the past when they've known they are going. As someone said above, he'd probably be one of the most determined players to get a medal if he stayed until the summer.

Kevin McDonald would be a great signing but he just recently signed a new deal with Dundee and I think when he moves on it'll be to someone a lot better than us if he carries on progressing as he has.

With the 3 players going, and others not having received any contract offers(assume Jimmy wants rid) then we need to be looking for replacements. It's the perfect time to snap up some players on pre-contracts to replace those outgoing. Ian Black and Paddy Cregg are both out of contract in the summer apparently. I'm amazed there hasn't been speculation involving them already. Worthy replacements for Clark and Nicholson. Whats the odds Calderwood actually having an idea who he wants to bring in as replacements? Hart said he'd rejected the final offer before the Copenhagen game so surely Calderwood has to have identified a replacement by now. I'm not overly worried about the 3 players leaving, it's more that I don't trust Calderwood to bring in worthy replacements. Is Dave Bus the best he can come up with?

Just watched the Press Conference on RedTV and Jimmy basically slags the players for moving as Championship sides are the best they'll get and you can't get into Europe through the Championship(FA Cup aye but not realistically). Wonder how long it'll be till he's managing in the Championship?
