Hearts were 6/1 to win at Ibrox yesterday. 9/2 about the best you'll get today though. Was tempted at 6's but Hearts' form is pretty dire and I've a feeling the Rangers player cuts either won't happen or will have little impact on the first team.

The Rangers v AC Milan legends match, which was set up as a charity match is now going to see all it's funds directed towards Rangers FC. Just me or would any other club doing something like this not get hammered? It's being reported as a "great gesture" Also, apparently the administrators have delayed announcing player cuts until players have returned from international duty. Then of course they won't do it on Friday because of a game at the weekend and next week they'll find another excuse.

Too early to judge this season. We're still in the Scottish Cup and have an outside chance of top 6. I'm not a huge fan of Brown and his team selections, but I do think he is doing what he was brought in to do - use his experience to get us out of the hole we were in, make us more solid and get us moving back up the table. The football hasn't been great, but we'd all take results over performances. Going unbeaten since Boxing Day is a significant improvement on anything post-Jimmy, despite the disappointing number of draws. We're not going to instantly become a great team. Progress year to year is the important thing and Brown has brought that since he has come in.

Suggestions today that officials at the SFA & SPL could be in bother due to turning a blind eye to Rangers' activities which were against both SFA and UEFA regulations.

I don't blame the strikers as they actually need time on the pitch to score. Chalali has looked lively whenever he has been on the pitch yet barely gets a look in.

Apparently Kyle Lafferty has a clause in his contract meaning 2 more games and Burnley are due 900k. He won't play those 2 games then. And for anyone who still thinks the SPL needs Rangers, look at Motherwell's crowd on Wednesday night. Put a bit of hope into the teams support that 2nd place/Champions League might be up for grabs and over 8000 turn up for a midweek game against poor opposition. Compare that to 4/5000 on their previous weekend fixtures, and 3700 in their last midweek SPL fixture and you can see they have already replaced the income which is/would/could be provided by the huns away support. Get them to fuck.

Yeh with Chalali, Uchechi, Magennis, Fallon, Mackie and Megginson available and Hughes, Osbourne, Pawlett, Folly and Clark out it makes perfect sense to move our best midfielder to attack. We play absolutely pish when he's not in central midfield. Canna fucking believe Brown didn't learn this from earlier in the season - particularly our visit to Paisley when they walked all over us.
