  1. Seems bonkers
  2. Right Nisbet, time to break some hibbie hearts! Really want to see a positive reaction today!
  3. Agree with this. He’s not at their level. The only reason they’d sign him would be to weaken us, which is of course a possibility.
  4. Quick turn around and on paper, the perfect team to be facing. I’d hope we go for the jugular on this one, as they really are in honking form. didn’t work out for us on the weekend for one reason or another, but Im sure jimmy will have us fired up to respond to it. Do we have the whole stand for it? out bed work work 3-0 dons, nisbet, sokler and duk
  5. Shite way to go down but saints clearly wanted it more. Disappointed for such a passive performance after the international break but felt like this was going to go against us with the conditions. True test will be how we pick it up on Tuesday.
  6. So do we expect to hear about McKenzie signing for the Huns in Jan or will they wait until the end of the season? I’m guessing we’ll find out this seasons scape goat status soon
  7. Need to find a winner here, especially with the huns up now edit: it’s been chalked off but the point remains
  8. With the advice provided in this thread KFP, I look forward to seeing you at the airport one day
  9. I hear the weather forecast isn’t looking too great for the weekend. Have we played in shite weather under jimmy yet?
  10. Why, why bring up the memory of that arsehole up?!
  11. Whilst the time of year isn't ideal, but it's great that the club are attempting this at least.
  12. That would actually a lolable situation. Although would be amusing if hearts stuck it out and got involved in a relegation playoff battle
  13. I see Ronald Hernandez, was in the side who knocked Miami United out of the MLS cup. Hadn't realised how star studded the Miami side was.
  14. Sakes, useless Killie Jambo bastards. Ah well, the 24 hours were good!
  15. Have finally watched the highlights back and being able to see the third I missed, what vision from nisbet btw. On a sixpence. Vinny obviously still had a decent amount to do, but that quick thinking is what we’re used to from Clarkson. Superb.
  16. Bump, in case anyone has missed this.
  17. Ffs, he definitely did appear to be a good guy.
  18. Would seem so there’s been more talk about a waterside stadium, which I’d imagine was the same conversation they were having when you were here! We know how long it takes to build anything in this country. The other thing I meant to add is that Aussie (and NZ) suffer from the lack of purpose built stadia. So most grounds are usually built with Rugby (any code) in mind rather than football. In Wellington's case, it was the opportunity for cricket and potentially AFL (never materialised) which lead to an oval. Nimby's prevented a purpose built 10k seater stadium elsewhere. Went to the women's game yesterday, as they play up the road from me on a site which would be amazing if they developed it. One of the players' dogs ran onto the pitch, definitely the highlight of the game. Love this league
  19. Nisbet, in fact all the subs deserve plaudits. All added to the performance when we were trying to ump the ante. First half was very even and seemed like a bit of a hangover but the second was more like it. As we’ve all said, can see there’s still plenty of work to do but at least we’re finding ways to win. Have to say, Dundee countered our press really well but thank fuck their pen was shite. my greatest joy so far is seeing how many different goalscorers we have. Everyone is pitching in. What a time to be alive.
  20. TOP OF THE LEAGUE
  21. Aye, United always have a good crowd. Think Hindmarsh holds around 15k, which is the perfect size pretty much for most teams in the league (apart from Western United and MacArthur who have no fans. There are of course exceptions (Melbourne Victory, western Sydney and possibly Auckland depending how they fare).
  22. Been quite the game, end to end at quite a pace. Made some decent changes and they’ve paid off. Missed the third goal due to one of my boys but pleased for vinnie! The first half I think it’s fair to say Dundee were the better side but only just. Minus the brain fade for their goal, we’ve been relatively in control of this half. Need to manage it a bit better though in the closing stages.
  23. Pretty poor in all honesty, but that’s also because most teams play in stadia they shouldn’t (I.e too big for them). But a few clubs have been run incredibly poorly of late. Feels like a it’s a bit of make or break for the league right now.
  24. Has that feeling of inevitability about it, doesn’t it?
  25. My concerns of him is he’ll do anything for power. No one actually knows what he believes and he’s proved he’s more than happy to change his spots to suit his desires. That, is a sign of a sick person who cannot be trusted. That’s why he’s ultimately more dangerous than trump. This isn’t a dig at you, as you’ve outlined why youve voted the way you have, as is your right. Back to why I’m most fearful is the biggest thing for me (climate aside which is going to suffer big time) is the abortion thing. Why the fuck do men think they can control a woman’s body? The shit that goes on in the US genuinely makes me think the rest of the world should build a wall around it. Honestly, I would not want a daughter over there. It’s bonkers. Truly handmaids tale shit.
