Final European outing of the season. Mixed emotions for this one. Could and really should have been a dead rubber for the right reasons, but we are where we are. I really don’t expect us to put out a first team for this one, and if we do, well , that’s just lunacy. Cup final on the weekend has to be our priority so who knows, we may even see Dadia

be nice for a few more youngsters to get a taste of euro football, especially when there’s no pressure on. A win would be good for the bank balance but is it worth the cup final? No. Will we try a different formation?

I mean, it’s funny as fuck, but killie beating Celtic just makes our games against Celtic all the more annoying. Everyone else appears to be able to make a game of it. Still, the result is funny as fuck.

I’d like to see the stats for this season on that one, duk hasn’t scored many this season despite his game time. But as I said, genuinely be intrigued in the stats as gut feel is that sokler would be similar?

I’d like to see sokler back for this game, as well as Barron. Macdonald should keep his place as Rubi will absolutely get sent off against hearts. Lose this and 13 points behind will be a tall order.

Sokler showed a lot of promise, it didn’t make sense to go with Duk. I mean, duk of last season scores that header but he’s nowhere near it nowadays. Hoping to wake up to some news from the club. I finally cancelled redtv (was always the plan), watching that pish this season has not been worth the increase in fee. I’d rather have had my meetings today

That was truly diabolical. I even managed to shift a meeting to let me watch some of it. Time to leave Barry.

Worthwhile? Absolutely, but totally frustrating. A more experienced or better manager would not have allowed us to surrender a 2-0 lead at home. Think we’ve seen a lot of positives but it does also make the domestic performances even more annoying and I get that Europe is always different, but the levels haven’t been there domestically.  ultimately, it will have given a lot of our team some important experience playing against good European sides, rather than mediocrity we usually face in the play offs. 
 

it will be interesting to see how we go in from this moment. It’s all a bit pointless if we don’t get back up the table.

Killie we’re winners against us last time out, and I’d like to say we’re a bit more organised now but they’ve had a series of narrow losses, including one against st johnstone and with saints playing the freefalling Paisley saints, we really need to be getting 3 points here. 
 

id like to see macdonald in for Rubi if at all possible. It’s not all on him but he was culpable for the two goals on the weekend and doesn’t appear to be learning much at the moment. Issue would be that it might shoot his confidence.

2-1 us, miovski and sokler

Just seen the scores from today, mental set of results. I mean, Chelsea even won.

Match day! Hope to fuck this is the start of a positive run.

As draws go, that's fucking brilliant. All perfectly beatable and Germany are no where near where they were of years gone by. Very jealous of those able to make it across. Looking forward to watching as much as I can.

Hibs will be after blood given the result at the semi final. Hopefully the starting XI will be closer to what we're used to seeing, but that said, i'd still like Sokler to be alongside Miovski for all the reasons we've been talking about this week. November saw them draw 2, win 2 and lose 1 (cup semi to us), so their form isn't too bad.  Obviously last time down there was part of the week of hell, so surely we'll be doing better than January!  Regardless, this is absolutely a must win game, we really need to start putting a bit of a run together, especially given how many games we've got coming up. 

If we don't really see any more of Gueye, I won't be sad. I genuinely didn't understand the clamour online to see him start. It didn't work.

Frustration is probably the feeling i have about this campaign. We were just not quite at it. Competitive in every game and should have beaten this mob twice as well as PAOK. Thank fuck we avoided any injuries tonight though, looked hellish out there!

Milne good so far but bit concerned he’s been left isolated to defend so often, but then if it’s Rubezic who should be covering he’s probably best left alone. 

Eh!?! You watching a different Gueye to me? Can’t hold the ball at all and is just conceding fouls all the time. Hard to judge if he’s pish because of the conditions. It’s clear he hasn’t played much as there’s zero connection with the others.

I am hoping we start to see a lot more of sokler, alongside miovski, if anything to take a bit of pressure off sokler getting up to speed. I’d like to hope that had he had a bit more game time sokler would have scored that first effort. He along with RB is critical, as we’ve not currently got the cover so need sokler to be up and running by the time January comes calling. Think it’s fair to assume miovski will be off so we have to have another scoring striker. Doesn’t appear that it’s going to be duk this season.

Looks like it should be nice and cold for this one. No doubt the fans will have a suitable form of warming available to them. This really should have been the decider, gutted it’s meaningless, but pride is still at stake. Would be nice to get a couple of decent results before ending our euro campaign. 
 

question is, what team do we play? Do we actually care and go with the regulars or do we throw in a bunch of reserves?

anyway, between Hayes and mcgarry left wing back is not a concern of mine. Think sokler showed today he’s worth a few games, I’d argue duk is no longer an unknown and opponents know more how to play him. Give sokler a run to get confidence and sharpness pre cup final and I’d run the two of them, he and miovski, at hampden.

I rate him going forward, but defending isn't his strong suit...Much improved over the last season or two so I hope it works out for him with us. We'll see.  

Great to read Sokler and Miovski played well together, we've needed that partnership to be given a go. And actually use our squad! Will take the point, definitely a better result to wake to than I feared.
