  1. Bahaha has anyone seen the statement from the GFA? Essentially confirming that they made it up at the time but Hawkeye confirms that it was the right decision. What an absolute cluster football in Scotland is. Couldn’t make it up. Own the fucking mistake.

"The Scottish FA has today received a report from Hawkeye on the incident that occurred at Livingston’s match against Aberdeen, which confirmed that the Broadcast 18-Yard Left Camera suffered a loss of calibration and ceased line tracking on the relevant video frame. During the review, Hawkeye were able to reprocess the data through their system and draw the calibrated offside lines from the disallowed goal, which showed Angus MacDonald to be in an offside position. The VAR made the decision using the technology that was available and this decision was validated by Hawkeye's retrospective recalibration conducted as part of their review."

  2. They've got a game against the huns this week, will be interesting to see if that actually happens. At least with this game being away for them, they can't cancel it 🤣

They're unbeaten against us this season, primarily due to the two previous postponements but they did narrowly beat us last month. Home form is better than our away for so we should be looking to get a result here. I think a win means we avoid automatic relegation?

Anyway, i'm a bit out of the loop with the team / "highlights" at the moment so i've no idea how we should be looking to set up. Hopefully we don't have a repeat of Leven's set up last time round.

  3. I'd say we didn't not because he didn't want to (certainly latterly), but the board clearly didn't trust him to spend the money wisely. Milne being in charge also meant far less was being invested in the playing budget. But doesn't take away from the point, it's like groundhog day every bloody summer these days.

Sounds like we are sitting waiting for an answer from jimmy thelin. I’m ok with him as manager but not the way I’d want it to go with this process, especially if he ends up turning us down…..and my gut says he will. Fuck knows what plan B is. I’ve defended us a fair amount but if he says no it looks awful. The only acceptable reason for such a delayed hire too is if he states that he wanted to be sure we were playing in the SPL next year. I can accept that.
this limbo has to end asap.

It's painful. I've had folk in my office here in Wellington asking me about us and our situation and it's embarrassing even talking about it. There's only one way this season could be any worse, and that's by getting relegated. For the love of god, please sort your shit out AFC. I could totally see it being your third to last sentence. I mean, why would you want to jump ship if you're playing in the league below?

Bologna’s game against Monza on 13th being shown on ITV.

Looks like there will be a Serie A game a week from now until the end of the season.

    That's bloody good!

  6. Haven’t lost to livi this season, and they’ve a tendency to concede 3 goals, but that’s against the better sides. Not quite sure we’re in that category. Their form over the last 5 has been worse than ours so there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be going into this game with confidence.

will be interesting to see if Leven changes much from the side that won at the weekend.

New Amsterdam. Medical drama. Enjoying it. Recently re-watched The Sopranos. Thoroughly enjoyed both seasons of Kin.

My wife watched new Amsterdam, wasn’t my cup of tea.

shogun has appeared on my watch list , anyone started that yet?

  8. Bike ride around the hills in martinbrough over Easter. 50Km ride with the father in law as he prepares to follow the giro d’Italia later this year.  Haven’t been out as much as I’d like to have been so far this year, life has a habit of getting in the way!  Anyway, stunning part of the world, and wellingtons closest wine region (excluding Marlborough as that’s over water).

Shit game great result. Defensively very poor. Jensen and Gartenmann are not a pairing that works. Needs to be one of them paired with Rubi or McDonald. As Rico said Devlin was awful with mask on but got better once he took it off but still not great. Hoillet was really poor. Was supposed to be there to provide width but actually kept making us narrower but cutting inside. Duk made a difference when he came on. Just waiting for highlights to see how the first ended up in the net.

Seemed to roll in at 5mph, absolute snails pace and the defender really should have saved it 😂 still, kudos of miovski for trying it.

there was a ball barron put through in the first for miovski (saved), where is that Barron more often?!?

  10. Happy to wake to the result. Looking forward to the highlights when they’re out, but hard to judge anything from the footage I’ve seen (wobbly phone coverage), but I’d like to see the duk performance.

needless to say, a much welcomed 3 points and something to build on. If we perform pish and get results that get us away from the danger zone, so be it.

I actually like Leven. I'd be happy for him to see out the season until we get a technical director in place. He seems like quite a calm head, and a nice chap.

I agree, it wouldn’t be the worst as long as we don’t feel guilted into making the same mistake (surely not). He has a good aura around him and whilst I’m not expecting major improvements, he seems to know what the team needs.

There’s some gossip circulating on private social media posts..

Cormack and Warnock didn’t get on and they fell out after Warnock told him how much of a shit show things were so Warnock said fuck it and left. Allegedly Cormack was interfering with team selection (find this hard to believe) also Warnock felt he was lied to (not sure about what exactly).

We’ve been turned down by a number of potential managers hence why no one yet appointed. Cormack being a deluded cunt is one of the reasons apparently.

    ——

This sounds like it’s come from some one with an axe to grind over Cormack although I can well believe we’ve been turned down by a number of managers.

Was that scott burns or consi? 😂

  13. Must win game this one. Lose and we really are staring down the barrel. I don’t think a win gets us safe but crucially we may start to build a bit of momentum at the right time (too optimistic?).

as long as the leven from the Dundee game doesn’t turn up, we should be ok. Doesn’t sound like we’ll have a manager in place for this one 😂🤦‍♂️ Hopefully miovski will have gained some confidence from his international goal too.

they’re being a decent support across for this, and sounds like pittodrie is selling well, which does surprise me, but we really need the fans to play their part here. Cannot let the likes of the weegie press get their Christmas present early.

  14. We really are that unattractive these days, aren’t we? Mental owner, freeloaders, Weird board thingy and a paper thin squad with no realistic euro prospects. I know there’s a route through the cup, but really? I’m fully expecting Lemon to appear now:

  15. Yet another must win game where we desperately need to try and find 3 points. The team seems to be devoid of any confidence whatsoever, so they really need to wake up and get their shit into gear or we will be going down. Seems mental to even be typing that, but I think it's fair given the severity of the situation. Who do we see as stepping up here? We got absolutely bullied in the middle of the park by Dundee, do we ditch Barron? Obviously we drew 3-3 with them recently, which was a clusterfuck of a game and seems to have revitalised them a wee bit. Lost two games on the bounce after that but then won two as well. They are the third highest scoring team in the league so given our defence, i'm not overly optimistic.
