  1. Been a while since they've had one of them out. Anyone watch i think it was the money programme special? All about brown and the credit crunch. Quite a good watch surprisingly. Tho it was very much in favour of the pm.
  2. You'd be very lucky to find that fixture on in amsterdam mate. Some coffee shops have arabic satellite so might be worth asking a few off the main drag so to speak.
  3. Don't get me wrong azteca, so would i, but i just don't see i happening but is pawlett not a midfielder than striker?
  4. I could see your line up happening to be honest paulinho. I'd like pawlett to come on later to try to exploit tired hun legs and maybe get thomson or mendes i'd also like to see fyvie to get a run out too.
  5. Has to be a definite starter on sat. Scored last time out at stybrox and obviously got the double on tuesday. Thanks ajja for brightening up my day come on you reds. Paton ftw!
  6. It probably was. its 1-1 now.
  7. Too true, I think its what most of us have known for a long time, and that is that we've lacked any real commitment in the centre of the park since Roberto. Someone who is a nutter (but obviously restrained to the point that he won't always get sent off). Kerr is NOT that person.
  8. Two very truthful articles in one day, its just a shame that such a(nother) shambolic event brings them out.
  9. So.....by the sounds of it, roll on saturday? :-/
  10. I was confused by the tiger woods one for a while, all I saw was the woman behind him, then realised what was stood next to her
  11. The ice man on channel 4. What a nutter!
  12. I think it smacks of being egotistical! My way or the highway sorta stuff. We are a 4-4-2 team at the moment, so why not play to the teams strengths.....its like deja vu....
  13. I think a lot of people are starting to get on Miller's case too. I certainly was at the Falkirk game. Up until Christmas, he was playing really well, hence his call up to the Scotland squad, but seems to think the effort he's put in since is sufficient. All stems from the lack of true and experienced competition and the lack of cahones by our manager to drop him. When was he last dropped out of interest?
  14. Well if i'm honest, I wouldn't expect him to say anything else. We have to cope with it whether we like it or not, so probably trying to put a positive spin on the fact that we are losing our most/joint most creative player.
  15. No holding you back today eh KGB
  16. Problem is Azteca, he doesn't do it nearly enough! Its quite embarrassing we call him a striker to be honest. He has scored some crackers, no doubting it, but it just adds to the frustrations of the fans. How can he score goals like that and yet only score them once in a blue moon?
  17. Can't say i'm very optimistic on this one, but if Jute is, by hell I will be I will take a cheeky 1-0. Can't see us breaking our average for goals a game at the moment but I will be more than pleased if we progress from this game. COME ON YOU REDS!
  18. Thats never going to happen though, because he constantly under performs. You can't say he's not been on the pitch plenty of times before and every single time fails to live up to a modicum of expectation. Well done to him for actually winning us a free kick, but as a striker, he is woeful. I just hope we don't see that headline Azteca! Makes me cringe. "Striker X Nets Dons Ibrox win" is much better
  19. Stoney, that is pish and you know it. Our midfield has been woeful so far this season and has actually been regressing in quality and potential rather than striving forward. Our defence is ok, and luckily have a decent keeper, but that aside, we're fucked because we have a midfield that know nothing of how to actually pass tha ball to a team mate (Fyvie aside) and a strike force who are as potent as a eunuch.
  20. Don't worry, i'm still singing the praises of Langfield so far. Without doubt he kept us in the game against Falkirk. Some of those stops were phenomenal. I'm just wary that its against teams that aren't really testing and once we actually play against a team with any quality (see Celtic) they get pumped. This is not due to the defence or keeper, but more to the midfield leaving them exposed.
  21. http://i33.tinypic.com/2nhkxa1.gif I wonder what was said between the two of them
  22. Sorry mini, but look who they were against?!? Hardly testing teams, and especially since the team let in a ridiculous amount of goals in the first few games i'd expect nothing less. What worries me most is that we're not exactly setting the heather alight here and i'm not seeing any improvement on the entertainment on offer....
  23. Totally! Played with a bit venom, skill and attitude. Obviously the goals helped a lot. I couldn't believe how much extra extra time play was allowed to continue. Not that i'm complaining. Both of Bellamy's goals were corkers, albeit, the second from a stupid Ferdinand cock up. Really thought united had blown it until out of no-where Owen scores the winner! Have to say, this season Fletcher has improved immensely and was my motm for united. Driving runs, good tackles, and obviously the two goals. Giggs showed that he's still got it and was a joy to see, even if he did scuff one of his attempts.
  24. Terrible mistake by foster for the equaliser. City had united on the ropes from then on and luckily tevez hit the post!
