    Summer

I actually went out in august because we stopped over after being in Japan. We went went out on jumeira beach and went swimming. Providing you've got plenty of Sun screen and drink water you should be ok. Though you will spend most of your time going from shaded area to shaded area mini. It was fucking hot !
  2. Chris Clark hopes his return to Aberdeen can help the club enjoy the kind of success they had during his first spell at Pittodrie. Clark has re-joined his hometown club on a free transfer from Plymouth. "I've supported the club since a young age and it was always the first result I looked for," Clark told BBC Scotland. "It was difficult to see the team in the lower half (of the table) and it'll be nice to be in the challenge of pushing for that top six." When the midfielder, now 30, left the Dons they were in Europe and regularly finishing in the Scottish Premier League's top six. However, Aberdeen have finished the last two seasons in the bottom half of the division. Continue reading the main story It's just important that we go about things the right way and just enjoy our football and make sure that Aberdeen are one of the stronger sides again Chris Clark "It's good to be back," said Clark. "A lot's changed since I was last here so I'm looking forward to working with the new management and new players. "You can't always be at that level but that's something that everyone's got to aim for and it's a challenge for everyone to get back to that level. "Craig Brown and Archie Knox have got a wealth of experience and when they came in, they gave the place a huge lift. "There's a lot of good young players in this squad, I've heard a lot about them. It's going to be really good working with everyone." During his time with Plymouth, the Pilgrims went into administration and Clark was struck at how the local community rallied down to support the club. Knox and Brown have brought Clark back to Aberdeen "I wish them all the best," he said. "It was a mixed time, you learn so much from it and you can only come out of those situations stronger. "It was hard for everyone and it's not just the players or the coaching staff, it goes right down to everyone working in offices, it goes down to people that work on matchdays. "The team were struggling as well but the support that the fans showed was really touching; it really humbled the players. It was fantastic, they clapped us off win, lose or draw. "They realised what everyone was going through at the club and they actually took upon themselves to do certain things to raise money for the club." Clark turned down the chance to join Kilmarnock before accepting Aberdeen's offer and is hoping his experience can help the club improve upon last season's ninth-place finish. "It was a decision for myself and for the family," added Clark. "It's the right decision at the end of the day. "I was out of contract, I had had a couple of offers. It was really pleasing when Aberdeen made the call. I was delighted to sign again. "It's well publicised how the Scottish game has fallen over the years. Attendances are down, a lot of teams' budgets are low. Everyone seems to be in the same boat. "It's just important that we go about things the right way and just enjoy our football and make sure that Aberdeen are one of the stronger sides again."

    Summer

plenty of stuff to do at the jumeira beach resort like jet skiing and wind surfing. I wanted to go dune surfing as well but we ran out of time. The water park is supposed to be pretty good and I'm sure there is a restaurant in a submarine as well.
  4. I loved him and touzani. I was genuinely disappointed when they weren't offered better contracts, touzani especially as I thought at the time of his departure he was playing some great football. Still with de visscher, we had a winger that knew how to play football. So any news on who they were?
  5. So oldfield and badongo?
  6. Really? Was it worth a watch? By all accounts, haye got owned.
  7. See the WTF thread
  8. I'd like to say after a good friendly performance, they should be signed up...but we know what happened last time we did that! Still, as I said, it sounds quite positive, hopefully they're not just one off performances and they prove to be valuable signings.
  9. Sounds promising enough. Was that Spanish midfielder garbage then?
  10. They won't like his tim tendancies down that way GIRFUY Diamond!

    Andy Murray

My girlfriends off to Wimbledon today....Court no.1. She's absolutely gutted, but I guess thats the way the ballot works! Looks like it should be a decent day, come on Murray!
  12. I was just about to have a lie down because I'd read "Jute in a complimenting Mackie" post shocker! But you didn't disappoint at the end
  13. Here's hoping!
  14. Isn't that Spaniard a midfielder too?
  15. Adam Rooney signs for Brum. another player I would have been happy to see sign for the Dons. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13968294.stm
  16. Northern Lights has been cancelled.
  17. So I take it that there is no progress on this front? If Hearts do sell Wallace to the hunnery, they'd be looking for an alternative. I'd rather have Smith as Left back and Considine!
  18. Aha so it does!
  19. I can't seem to find anything dodgy on it? I have only scanned it mind.
  20. We're gonna win the league
  21. Finally is the only word to describe my feelings on this. Whether it be £400k or £450K, thanks for the money and I wish you the best.
  22. Got the series Sky +d. I was a huge fan of the previous series but haven't been able to watch this one yet. As good as the last?
  23. Pointless signing imo. We'll have as many midfielders as we had centre halves last season!
  24. Not a fan of the collar but tbh I'm going to get it.
  25. I have to disagree maverick, I think he is exactly the calibre of striker we're needing, and guaging from the opinion in this thread it would get people back into pittodrie. Can't see it, but hell, id be pleased if it happened.
