We've not challenged the old firm even when there is only one of them or even reached a final since the turn of the century. I don't think it is a big job anymore. The problems clearly lie higher in the club, but until there is a serious momentum shift, I can't see anything changing. My apathy levels are clearly quite high, but again I think in the grand scheme of things, he is potentially a good appointment. I liked what I saw when he was at Perth, and hopefully he'll be able to get something out of the current squad and utilize the youngsters better. I can understand where you're coming from bobby, but I also think it reflects the general apathy towards the club at the moment. Ooft, you may struggle tbh. But there is always the O'Neils or Euston Flyer which are right across from Kings X / the British library. As horrible as they are, they may be your best bet i'm afraid! There are also a couple of other timmy style pubs in the area, The Boot and The Skinners Arms are on Judd street and around the corner from Oneils.

On a side note, went to Brisbane road on saturday to see Leyton Orient - Carlisle, sadly Miller was injured so wasn't anywhere to be seen, but it's a great wee ground with a nice supporters bar at the back of one of the stands. Properly nice atmosphere in the bar, everyone having a laugh and reasonably priced beer to boot! Recommend going if you've got the chance. £23 was a bit steep I though, but we got to see plenty of goals and the facilities were decent enough. The standard of football was still better than the majority of SPL games i've seen this season.
