Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act
manc_don replied to mizer's topic in Football Chat
But tlg this doesn’t go with the agenda they have against the tims. Come on, you must know this is fake news -
saw this mentioned on Twitter. It's a great free-kick without doubt, but not sure it's one of the best. Recency bias maybe?
-
Was it the Ryhun jack halfway goal game that was the 5%?
-
Big game this one and the huns are far from convincing at the moment (even excusing the Hibs loss). Nothing to fear, especially since we’re at home. wouldnt look to change too much at the moment, confidence is building and I think if we can strike first, we’ve every chance to get the 3 points. Their confidence will be dodgy as fuck and Barry the crab will get the fear as much as wee durranty does around Simmie. I’ve just seen the officials for this one, you couldn’t make it up. The SPFL don’t want us to win this at all . Referee Steven McLean and VAR Andrew Dallas. Out - shite day and kick off time now daylight savings has kicked in. bed bed bed 2-1 dons, Nisbet and Dabbagh

Not surprised in all honesty, and makes sense given where we seem to be getting a number of players from at the moment.
-
Agreed, definitely needs to hit the gym and put on a bit of muscle. Good to see another academy product sign up though.
-
You never mentioned it once, honest Nice to wake up to seeing another 3 points, didn't look pretty but the club look to be rebuilding that unity again which is great to see. And JT appears to have learnt some lessons, which is obviously pleasing to see!

Thought Bein started having it on regularly? I'm genuinely thinking of getting a firestick to watch stuff, just not sure we'd get RedTV over here.
-
Dunno about that, I think we'd all love a Scottish core, but it just isn't financially viable / highly dependent on what comes through the academy. I'd like to hope that we've already been looking, as leaving it to summer would be too late for all concerned. The lack of starting Scot is a massive concern, so I do genuinely hope we get nisbet now. I'm guessing Devlin is out of the picture completely now that Jensen is a performer? Hopefully we're able to retain him, shit for him given he was starting to get national team call ups. One player I'd love to see in a Dons shirt, is Liberato Cacace, of Empoli. A left back and Nix graduate (kiwi with Italian parents) and will be coming off contract next year. He was the one we should have signed (but had ages left on his deal) and not McGarry. I'd like to hope he's on our radar at least because he's ace.
-
Really intrigued by this one, if only to see where Shinnie lands. It’s amazing how few times he’s actually played at left back, but hopefully he’s enjoying his time there as he is ace. Clarkson may struggle against them given how tight they’ll likely be, but hopefully he’s got enough confidence to work his magic. don’t think Polvara is the answer, would probably be risky bringing him into fold against them. Hopefully PHG was just taking instructions a bit too far last weekend, but that said, his early season form was clearly a purple patch and we should be looking to move him on in the summer. Does it need to change? I’ve seen some say online that it needs to, but I actually like the system. It works. Wouldn’t mind a 14 league setup, it’s actually what the a-league are striving towards as well, although once the top 6 breakaway, the season ends for the rest. im genuinely surprised we’re even talking about it, the cheeks need to get a grip.

Adolescence is on the list to watch, but just need to be in the right head space for it from what i've heard. So a light hearted show we've started is, The Residence on Netflix, a who dunnit at the white-house. Great cast and very funny.

When would any first euro fixtures for us be played? Back over between June and July… superb result, nice to see nisbet find his mojo and Clarkson continue his resurgence in form!
-
Always good to know you can rely on your subs bench to get the match thread going, ta @Jute Clarkson has been playing well, but it'll be interesting to see if Shinnie gets shunted back in to mid (i'd prefer him at LB). Obviously Well had a great result at Ibrox and played quite well, as well as being typically physical, so whether a Palaversa / Clarkson combo has enough bite or nous to avoid the battles in the middle will be a big test. Nice that it is a sell-out, just hope the team turn up! Sokler is fit again, so i'd imagine we see some decent minutes from him in the second half? Will it be him and Nisbet up top even, as I'd imagine Dabbagh may come off the bench due to the international games?
-
Thanks for this. Exactly what I wanted to read on a Monday morning
-
Boooooo (his injury, not the thread).
-
Finished 7-0 kiwis, Fiji didn’t have their best player, Krishna (ex Phoenix player) playing which I was a bit gutted about as he was the player that made me remotely interested in the nix. Nice that that Auckland player was booed. Here for it

I’m off to watch the two titans of Oceania football tonight, NZ - Fiji, NZ aiming to qualify for the next World Cup. Pretty farcical but it is what it is.

Glad someone organises your life

That’s on the watch list. waiting for the final episode of white lotus. Keen to see who freaks out just odd not having stifflers mum in this season.
-
Felt a bit like destiny given how few occasions we’ve actually met them at hampden (3?), but half of me still thought we’d land Celtic as per. Are we expecting attendance fc to request a 60:40 split? anyway, hopefully it’ll be a decent time of day, it is over Easter weekend though. Read some saying they’d be happy for a smaller louder crowd rather than more dandies. Not sure I quite agree but can understand the rationale. This is a bloody good opportunity to make the final, hope we take it.

Saints have been putting some good results together over the last month or so so I don’t think we’ll have it easy, especially since we usually struggle to play much football there at the best of times. They’ve got an outside chance of being able to step out of the relegation zone over the next few weeks, only 3 points behind Dundee so will be gunning for them. Not usually many games in this one, goalless draws have featured a lot. Any news if we’re likely to retain the same starting XI? I know it was queen’s but after the first 15, it seemed like a relatively settled performance. Like to see Dabbagh and nisbet build their understanding together, feels like we’re finally starting to see a genuine pairing rather than two individuals struggling. Do need Mitov to be a bit calmer and alert I think, hasn’t quite been the same in the games he’s played since he’s come back. out bed bed 2-1 Dons, nisbet and Dabbagh

Thank you for your blessings. I’ll get a semi thread on the go soon.
-
Seemed like there could have been many more goals for both sides. Nice to see a game like that for a change.

I know, and I appreciate that, I think it's important for the values of the site to have more than one POV. I may not agree with your politics but it's the one you live and I can't argue with that. Certainly not from afar! I'm not sure the economy will improve under trump, as there is a reason why manufacturing for example, was moved away from the US. It's too expensive, much like other anglosphere countries. Tarrifs are going to cripple the country and people will be infinitely poorer. Conservatism or rather Atlasism will only increase the divide and countries and societies will only be poorer for it.
