What I don't get is that the club announce a press conference tomorrow, presumably to allay any speculation . Then immediately after that the BBC get two pieces of information relating directly to the situation at hand. Why hold a press conference then leak details directly afterwards ? BBC just speculating on an 'exclusive' so they can play the odds and say we told you so ?

How many clubs get a home ticket allocation week-in week-out like ?

Ballot for ST holders and shareholders ? What happens after that ? Should everyone be putting a ballot paper in by Jan 18 ?

Unfortunately I suspect any player leaving us will get dogs abuse. Its just the way of these things. Personally I don't really blame these guys for wanting to better themselves financially although I question their sense of balance between getting more money and getting proper first team experience. For a guy like Nicholson you can see why he might want one last chance at a big pay packet, can you really fault him for that ? I certainly won't be booing anyone. If ZD decides to stay I will very much be cheering him though.

Very true but we see this happen time and time again. These players who are seduced by a 'big' move must be fully aware of the situation that awaits them, either they are deluded into believing they will be the exception or they couldn't give a fuck and just want the clams. I guess the pull of ££££ is just too great for these guys.

Having spoken to fans of Motherwell, Hibs, Hearts, Rangers, Celtic and UTD at my work who watch their teams regularly I'd say we are all approaching this season with a more 'selective' style. Certainly Aberdeen have been very up for a select few games (Dnipro, Copenhagen, UTD, Hibs, ICT in CIS being a few examples). Problem is we don't seem to be able to maintain this for the majority of games. It could be that the run-of-the-mill games in the SPL are just not being taken seriously by players who increasingly operate like spoilt teenagers when it comes to effort.

These guys are all replaceable. We could do with keeping ZD and Barry Nic but they are not exactly world class players. Onwards and upwards. Just wish we could see a more proactive approach to contract negotiations generally, it really unsettles the team. It always seems so lastminute.com with us

Think the reason the radio was saying it was a good game was due to Falkirk being the new Brazil-1970-wank-a-thon contenders. Kept going on about them still taking the game to us despite being down to 10 men.

I'd like to know the real raisin why he is leaving. There was clearly some resistance to a first team game and he didn't feel at ohm, just hope it doesn't spark a complete re-volt.
