Strikers 9 Non-strikers 11 Poor show from the boys up top

No, sorry, the auditor point was in relation to Ukio Bankas parent company. The accountancy firm being Ernst & Whinney. Wires crossed as the info is not direct from me

In normal circumstances BB I'd agree completely but the situation with Hearts is far from normal. Its possibly very crude to say it but the consensus in the Edinburgh business community is that the whole escapade has been an elaborate money laundering exercise. If Romanov walks away completely (which I have been told he is very very close to doing) then administration may not be possible. I agree that Hearts are too big to go away, their fan base alone will ensure they would return in some form but the pleasure in watching them play East Stirling for a season will be something to relish. I'm never one to attach myself to these rumours as they are so often a pile of shit and its very possible that this one is too but it has come through a credible channel. I guess we will just have to keep watching and see, its traditional that Hearts press the self-destruct button when the footballing side is doing well.

I have avoided posting about Hearts as 'source' gossip tends to be dismissed on here pretty quickly. However, I was speaking to a business contact this week who is well connected with the financial side of Hearts and he suggested to me that it was imminent that Hearts were going to the wall within weeks. I'm not going to say anymore about where it came from as it could risk a valuable relationship so choose to take it whatever way you wish. They have recently had their legal people take a large step backwards from them and a reputable accountancy firm has refused to audit them. There is serious concern that Romanov is about to walk and send them straight down, no administration.

I really liked the cheque for £200K we received. Nothing more.

Scoring goals for fun is the minimum criteria. Until that starts then he has no chance

I read about 3 lines of that article and my opinion is thus: -For 'top names' read some players in our squad who we might want to keep, sort of.. -JC can talk all he wants about players needing to make their minds up early but we all know we will still be reading about all these deals 2 weeks before they are coming to an end -There is fuck all we can do about this situation so before 40 threads are posted over the next 3 months can we just clarify that fact now and move onto talking about something else ?

Maybe she got a call from the producers of Americas next top model

Can't see it to be honest. They have a reasonable squad with some decent players but they have such a high ability to self destruct that its hard to see them playing consistent football all season. They have been pretty poor in a lot of games this season and have fluked quite a few wins according to season ticket holders at work.

Agree with a lot of these comments and like Funster, I think some players are beginning to show a degree of promise but its slow at best and often feels like 2 steps forward, 1 step back (or the opposite at times!) When you look around the league, its hard to see why we should not be comfortably in 3/4th position. UTD are the biggest challenge for us and you have to ask yourself why this is. There is not much between Levein and Calderwood in terms of managerial ability but the thing that Levein appears to be able to do that JC cannot is make players believe in themselves. Increasingly I think JC, for all the 'great man management skills' he apparently posseses he seems unable to install the basic principals of pride and belief. Its all well and good to be able to take players out for a pint and convince them to sign a new contract against the odds but he needs to turn this into consistent man management or he will never get the best from the squad we have, regardless of the personnel.

The village idiot has gone now, you can stop arguing with him.

Ibrox tends to drag the bottom of the gene pool for Aberdeen 'support'. Probably because most self-respecting Dons fans avoid the place these days (no offence to whoever was there today)
-
If we had the resources that you have at your disposal we would be embarrassed to be achieving as little as you are. I'd tell you to fuck off to the EPL but they don't want your bile and stench making a mess in their towns either. Noone likes you and noone cares a fuck what you have to say.

Someone PM me the link please ?

Anything could happen in this game today. The only thing I can say with any certainty is that I can't remember being less interested in a game v's the huns at Ibrox in a long time. I hope to fuck that today we can do something to put some energy back into supporting the Dons. When we were 2-0 up last Saturday I sat in the stand and thought 'please just go on and take this team apart so we can feel really good for a week'. I think as a support we need to see us do something extraordinary. Last season was pretty much the same as this one, the crucial difference was the dire displays and grinding out of results were punctuated by some great moments that kept the energy and momentum behind us all. We really need a good win and Ibrox would be the place to deliver

I didn't even bother reading the text so missed that bit. My cynicism didn't even allow me to go that far

Two points I note here 1. The top is most likely a fake, I'm sure I've seen this posted before 2. New poster comes on to point out great buying opportunity on ebay Mmmmmm....

6 NI fans and the police kept them back until the Scotland fans had left. Priceless

I'll take the fucking executive decisions in this thread if you don't mind

This was a gut reaction we are talking about not a well thought out plan which was executed with forethought and concern to act graciously and correct in all ways. Maybe Aluko was closest to him, maybe he just had a rage about the missed chance and was focused on that. We don't know what the detail was and we don't know what was said and to who but we do know that Jimmy was raging, as we all were. When it gets to the point that the manager can't even blow his lid in a totally irrational manner without people suggesting he should be doing that differently then its getting a bit ridiculous.

Nature abhors a vacuum. The event had been noted by press and fans alike, he could fill the void with his opinion or have it filled with the idle gossip of football forums (see our friends on afc chat )or the tabloid press.
