I was just having some difficulty with the idea that you can argue other clubs have signed a number of quality players in recent years but then challenge someone else on the same issue from the opposite standpoint a few days later on a different thread.
You seem confused. Are you sure you are clear on what you actually want here because I could perhaps help you to be informed as to what you really desire from this discussion ?
So what the fuck is this place all about ? Anyone know anything that will assist the quest for drunkenness and Scottish Cup glory ?
From this link it looks like a tricky one.

Capacity:3100 so we are not going to get much more than about 1000 tickets ? (Where's that panic button)
Nearest trainstation: Stirling
Pubs near ground:5-10 minutes away possibly
Do they still have an artificial surface ?
Why the fuck could Raith not have won on Tuesday night
Maybe they were hoping for a pitch battle ? Forget the football, lets just turn the undersoil heating and drainage systems to full and see who falls over first.
When you get to compiling that extensive list of the players signed by other teams in the last 4 seasons that you would have rather seen at Pittodrie then I'm sure you can pick through it for some skillful players.
Its UBIG that you want to keep tabs on. Indiviual units of the parent company can easily transfer costs etc across but the parent companys share price and therefor overall value are in the shitter.
Stop trying to create positive news, its not welcome here :hammer:
Its not as black and white as 'damned if he does.......'. If a spokesman for the club is making public statements about their apparent willingness to sell players then it reduces the price. Its simple rules of engagement when it comes to negotiating. If you have ever had any training in negotiation then you would be aware that you never discuss your willingness to trade before any sort of discussions have began.
Its ironic that JC promotes a Dutch style football where players must offer dynamicism and flexibility in their skill set while he brings in Dutch players like JDV who have very little versatility and so therefor find themselves on the fringes for most games.
His apparent belief that the SPL can sustain a team who play beautiful flowing football with crisp passing and multi-skilled players in a variety of roles seems to regularly give way to a bunch of squad players who are willing to run around like nutters, giving their all for the cause.
Ideology meets reality with mediocre results most Saturdays. Welcome to Aberdeen FC
There is nothing wrong with making a public statement to his players in the lead up to a match that they must be alert to the threat of a proven goalscorer who might have a grudge. I'm just glad that JC is not putting out the 'I was right to let Lovell go' stories in the lead up to these games.
I creamed him in a particularly mental 10MWTM in Madrid, I almost didn't notice he was there he was so small compared to my giant, masculine frame. Luckily for him, he didn't know where he was he was so utterly rinsed.
Kingston could clear the debt for them with a weeks wages. If they have a weekly wage bill of £200K but are deferring a £15K debt then they have some very serious cash flow problems on their hands. It looks like the only reason they have agreed a payment plan with this particular creditor is because they have threatened freezing gate receipts. If that happened Hearts would clearly be in some major shit. They must have a queue of creditors screaming for cash. I smell disaster in the air.
Pretty damning when your top performer is a striker who has scored 4 goals (3 of which were penalties)and that this far into the season the non-strikers have scored more goals than all the strikers put together.
It must be the luck o' the Oirish for good ole Shauney O' Luko. I just wish the club and local media would stop fucking dangling him like some piece of fresh meat on a market stall. He's only been at the club for 5 mins, let us enjoy it for one season at least
I'd take mister bump for that physical presence in midfiled and mister strong for some steel at the back, mister tickle wouldn't be much use but he'd be a hoot in the dressing room.
Seems pretty obvious what has happened here.
Fuel bills are rocketing for everyone at the moment so you can bet that diddy clubs like Killie and Motherwell who can barely muster up 5,000 fans a week are going to avoid turning on the heating as often as possible. So when there is a minor drop in temperature they will have taken a risk and not bothered with the heating or at best turned it on low power to save £. Pity they have given no consideration for the fans who have spent money they can ill afford.
Yeah I read that one. They must have neglected to turn the heating on and whether this is due to forgetfulness/it being broken/noise pollution laws/deliberate sabotage they need to be taken to the fucking cleaners. ITS JUST NOT CRICKET and its ruined my fucking afternoon
